WHAT AN INTERESTING IDEA. I HAD WATCHED THE NEW TRANSFORMERS MOVIE. "TRANSFORMERS-DARK OF THE MOON" OVER IN MILILANI, HAWAII ON THE ISLAND OF O'AHU. THIS AIRCRAFT APPEARED BRIEFLY IN THE MOVIE. ONLY IT HAD A SMALL HORIZONTAL & VERTICAL STABILIZER AT THE REAR SECTION OF THE FUSELAGE. IT WAS WRECKED BY A MV-22 OSPREY CRASHIN INTO IT.

I personally love the QTR concept. it'd be interesting to see a Gunship variant, similar to the AC-130's armaments. it also reminds me of the C-21 Dragon from Avatar, and i'd imagine we're not that far off from developing something similar

@ImLandsquid I guess they would just use the collective on idependent rotors to cause a forward movement on one side. to give you a turn it would be powered by the onboard computers. similar to how a CH-47 turns.
