I'm not generally a fan of watching a rats drown and get eaten alive however people who are ranting over this video need to realise that this guy needs to feed his fish. There are many reptile owners also feed live rodents to their snakes and lizards because it's what they would eat in the wild. I think people should give this guy a break he is after all only keeping his fish healthy. I myself have pet rats and if I had to feed them another live animal to keep them healthy and alive I would.

Thanks for the kind words. Most people leave comments like the ones above. I mostly feed them whatever is starting to go bad in the fridge. Only fed them a few rats since i have had them. They eat everything from carrots to turkey to green peppers and anything else thrown in there. check out the video of them eating pasta.
My rats are omnivores, too. They eat anything -- fruit, meat, candy, vegetables, bread, etc.. I read recently online that they'll even eat spiders and other insects. I killed a daddy-long-legs spider a few days ago and fed it to them. Yep, they ate it! I don't think, though, my rats would eat your piranhas. lol

Thanks for the kind words. Most people leave comments like the ones above. I mostly feed them whatever is starting to go bad in the fridge. Only fed them a few rats since i have had them. They eat everything from carrots to turkey to green peppers and anything else thrown in there. check out the video of them eating pasta.

My rats are omnivores, too. They eat anything -- fruit, meat, candy, vegetables, bread, etc.. I read recently online that they'll even eat spiders and other insects. I killed a daddy-long-legs spider a few days ago and fed it to them. Yep, they ate it! I don't think, though, my rats would eat your piranhas. lol
