@2583060 Dbz drawings are pretty good at some points, its just the gorilla looking men and the shitty background that makes the art look bad. they're definitely really good at drawing women (at least now they are because in the beginning of Dbz the girls looked really ripped), but lets not forget that Dbz has 2 artist. One that is extremely talented, and another that is really bad. you'll notice it if you start watching Dbz again (or at least browse episodes)

@severath19 No, for sure, Dbz knows how to make awesome drawings, I just mean, that compared to modern, higer budget stuff, its not as polished. New stuff has like computer drawn things, or rendered things, and has crazy lighting, and glaring, and other motion blurs, or effects. I just dont like the women in DBZ because they usually look to cartoony to be taken seriously. Like women in other animes are drawn, more accurate, you can say... They didnt want girls to be a big thing.

@2583060 DBZ is also a pretty old anime, lets not forget that. If you see the new "eradication of the saiyons" special they made, you'll see how much better their drawings, animation, coloring, and lighting has gotten ever since the 1980s/1990s. But still...I see what you're saying. Shows like Durara, Bleach, Fullmetal Alchemist, Cowboy Bebop, Death Note etc do have far better proportionate drawings than DBZ could ever pull off (as well as better lighting, animation, coloring etc).

@severath19 that oldness, so to speak, is what makes dbz recognizable, and cool. They do the villians and boys correctly, just not the girls on purpose. And I like how some backgrounds are like paitnings, and the characters pop out over, the bacgrounhds.

Though Krillin does try to wish for her and 17 to be turned back into humans I'm assuming he just means to remove any artificial technology in them. Krillin even tells Goku that she is still mostly human at the Tournament in the manga he says Cyborg.
