powering these subs right will reward you well, i find over powering my c15 comps is the best for them and my cvr 12s. kicker just love the power and in most cases can handle it just fine. kicker get a lot of stick cos they are affordable but i have used alpine jlb and Sony even fli but the noticeable difference was the kickers mostly handling a lot of abuse and living to tell the tail. in order of shittin out first with hammer on my amp was alpine - fli - Sony - jbl - kicker.

i think Gothic series was the best power acoustik made. all the others suked. i had all series and Gothic performed the best to me. but i sold them all because they either blown or didnt perform the way i thought they would. i moved to audioque which is really cheap but really built tuff and true power

No....youll be lucky to get half that rms at 1ohm....taking into account it only has 150a worth....your looking at no more than 1500rms give or take 10% at 1ohm

theres 5x 50 amp fuses on the amp itself... it was blowing my 300amp main fuse.. i even tried a 300amp curcuit breaker it blew that too. i went to 400amp and it never blew.. i have this amp. I dont know where your getting 150 from.. your wrong

lol it does not put out 3600rms...PA amps are overrated. More so then Hifonics as well. the only solid amp they made was the PA3000db...and even that was overrated. In fact the 3000db puts out more power than the gothic. the 5500 only has fuse rating up to 150A , and at 80% efficient...your looking at half the stated rms at 1ohm

I know it's overrated but the amps add up to 200. so 200x14.4= 2880 and i'll give it 70% efficiency so 2880x.7=2016 at 70% and D's are usually more efficient then that. So i'd give this amp about 2krms.

Well its not to much a big deal what the ohm is...4 ohm will give u the best sq....but its hard to find an amp that can power two of these at 4 ohms efficieently. best bet is two wire them two either 1 ohm or 2 ohm.

o i know i have owned every sub in the kicker line except a solo x 18 dont have the room for it .....2 door blazer :\ o and did you know you can make comp and comp vrs louder and sound better than the l7 line without paying the high price its simple for example 3 comp 12's are louder and clearer than 2 L7 15's with much less wattage
