Lol, she is so cute, though I think she is at least my age now or older. I think she's amazing actually.... her mother died during the filming of Matilda and she chose to carry on! She was only 6 or 8 years old. That's very inspiring, but sad. I don't know if I would want my child to carry on acting through that sort of heartache.

I used to watch this movie. =D Thanks for sharing, brought back lots of memories.

I wonder what happened to that little girl after she hit puberty and stopped being so preciously precocious. You can kinda tell she's getting older with her voice and all in this movie, but she just kinda dropped off the map.

Also, where on Earth can I get a replica of that wand?! It is so freaking cool!

I'm pretty embarrassed to admit this, but when I was younger my friends and I all thought Murray's name was Marie... I live in Australia, and in the Australian accent the name Murray is pronounced like "MAH-rey" as opposed to "MUR-rey" - so to Australian ears, "Murray" in an American accent sounds just like "Marie". I remember thinking, hey I never knew Marie could be a boy's name! XD
