  • i have the same car 1979 firebird ill put it on youtube when the snow melt but it does need alot of restoration but with patient and time ill fix her up

  • RESCUE THEM!

  • i would give her 5500

  • you should get Dave to restore one as a project, to keep him busy at something

  • two lane blacktop was a 70 GTO judge . The torino looks like a 72

  • 1 Question! WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU BUY THAT CAR BRAND NEW THEN LEAVE IT SIT AND TURN IT INTO SHIT?!?!?!?!?!??!! its a fucking girl owner thats why

  • Looking at the trim it's more likely a '80 model.

And it's not a "Bandit Edition" Just a standard Targa Trans Am.

  • it isnt a 88 retard

  • Did the cars of his era really have CAT's in the exhausts? In the UK we didnt have catalytic converters until 1989 or 1990 (correct me if im wrong LOL) Its a damn shame that the metals used for the bodys of these classic cars rust so quick! TBH I think it would cost way to much to restore the car against what it is worth today. However if you have another with a good body then it would be worth using it as a donor car, in Honor!

PS, My name is Mike, and I love your channel and Davids Farm!

  • 79 or 80 305ci.

  • Man id prolly start at 800-1000 bucks for that black t/a being its an original owner and looks complete it would be a good deal but being from canada and lady owned theres no telling how much rust is lurking under it.

The torino was pretty rough i bet there isnt a floor left under the carpet and the trunks prolly the same way just looking at the fenders rockers and rear quarters screams swiss cheese id say $500 bucks tops and thats mainly just for the usable parts on it.

  • the main hero car used in the smokey and the bandit is owned by the owner of national parts depot - and on display in thier headquarters building.

  • i am an expert on the trans am model- having been a judge at the trans am nationals 5 years running .... the black one is 79-82 body- and is a ws6 code trans am .....the gold one is the "esprit" model - made in 79 and 80 model years - they were mostly 6 cyl. cars and meant more for the daily driver market

  • I own one. Its a 1979 Trans Am. Not a bandit either. From the looks, it is an automatic with a 403 olds motor. Not rare at all. It has T-Tops. No big deal. If it was a true bandit, it would have the gold grilles and the gold decal around the window. It is a ws6 car though. It has the 15X8 snowflakes and has 4 wheel disk brakes. Still, it looks have decent. Fair market value, I would say $2300

  • @coutts1993 Pontiac actually never produced a "bandit" edition...its just a myth. Burt had a 1977 Trans Am Special Edition with the Pontiac 400 (T/A 6.6 on the scoop) and a 4 speed manual. If it says "6.6 Liter" on the scoop its a 403. If you rip the cat off, block the EGR and unblock the hood scoop on the 77-79 Pontiac 400 versions of these,it will take the hp from 200 to over 300 hp (which is what they did to the movie version of that car Burt was driving)

  • bloke your a fool

  • that's just a crying shame...

  • Bloke, any real authority on this topic would start with a VIN number and find out what the car really is. There are plenty of resources out there to look these up on the computer. After you find out what is there, you need to see just how much rust is in the floor pans, frame and otherwise. If the car is rusted out, I can tell you it is not worthwhile. I have experience with Trans Ams specifically, I have seen more than one taken to the crusher that looked in better shape than the black one

  • Thats a late 70's firebird...My neighbor has one he just restored and it's supercharged...They're amazing cars and sound great.

  • Scrap that pos fireturd hells yeah a torino now that's worth fixing

  • Muscle cars don't work in Canada...too much snow, they rot far too quickly.

  • these guys dont know there cars that is a 1980 and not a bandit the bandit was a 1977 and the 1979 was the 10th anniversary addition, those are from my high school days

  • dude ur bored and u have the gas to waste hmmm bloke u stole the gas admit it lol

  • @undeadnow how can he steal the gas when he has a business

  • @facesitter33

Seriously, you need to get a sense of humor. Obviously undeadnow does. It was a joke guy.

  • that fire chicken is 100% worth restoring, but there was also a silver trans am in the previous video that I would love to get my hands on, but I don't got no moneys lol

  • for the love of our ears please put a piece of fome over the mic so we dont hear the wind...

  • $1300

  • i would snatch that trans am up any day

  • Found A 1968 Dodge Charger. Check my vid.

  • I would pay anything for that gold Trans Am when he is done restoring it

  • @ace200915 - That's not a Trans Am, it's a Firebird.

  • He said 1980 eh not 1988...LOL

  • its not a bandit edition t/a its a 1980 the bandit edition is a 1977

  • Hey Bloke, if you ever come across a Chevy Monza Spyder 305 4-spd and isnt all rotten underneath let me know. I'd be very interested in it. I used to have a 78 and would love to get one again.

  • there rare in canada

  • Not an 88,.. Either a 79-81. 77-78 had different bumper

  • the classic muscle car era ended in 1970 imo

  • THATS A 79/80 and if infact its a 79? the Chicken on the B pillar is missing? Later in the vid you can see a rust spot where it could have been.NOW are the rims 14 or 15 inch?

  • The last real "Trans Am" was the 1973 and 1974 455 HD. That motor put out enough torque to combat the newly government regulated cat converters (back then they were pretty much a muffler filled with beads...they KILLED power) plus other early emissions BS that sapped power. Just a few years later they were selling corvettes with 150 HP. RIGHT NOW we are living in the second muscle car era. 470 HP SRT8's, 580 HP camaro ZL1 and 650 HP Shelby GT 500

  • @CrazyBrittishBloke Adam (Vlogginlife) has Trans Am

  • Nice torino looks like it will need new floors but looks worth buying.

  • That Trans am was a 1979-1981.. That certainly was not a 1988 though, that year looked like the Trans Ams from Knightrider.

  • awesome videos bloke i would love to see some old greasy old/cold starts with these cars!

  • did i hear from new??? and she treated it like SHIT! WTF that women needs a good smack across the head

  • that is a 1978 possibly, definitely not 1988

  • sorry, but that transam is an ugly car

  • that black one aint a 1988 lol

  • Keep finding more!

  • i would pay 2000 for it

  • i would love to have a 79 ta ttop black with gold bird nice find bloke

  • Damn that Torino should have been taken care of more.

  • Bloke tha Trans Am is a 1979 not 1988. Plus its a Bandit Edition very RARE car Bloke.

  • @GTASA1969 id say if the owner bought it new she would know what year it was.

  • @GTASA1969 That's NOT a bandit, they were 77's. has to be 79 or 80.

  • @GTASA1969 the 1977 Trans Am Special Edition is the "only" version and year considered to be the Bandit edition...and it cant be the crappy 403 Oldsmobile (says 6.6 Liter on the scoop) it has to be the Pontiac 400 (says T/A 6.6) on the hood scoop. Pontiac never produced any special "Bandit" edition..thats just urban legend. If you want what Burt had....you need a 1977 Trans Am SE (T/A 6.6 ONLY) 4 speed manual or a 1980 Turbo Trans Am with the 301 and a automatic.

  • Hi britishcarbloke, i see you are getting ignorant comments. You may not now alot about old classic cars but atleast you are willing to put up some videos to entertain, i buy old cars of all kinds and i am not afraid to work hard and spend the money to restore old classics. Check out my channel and subscribe to see my camaro videos and progress.

  • Nice Bloke Any Not To Kill For Davidsfarm?

  • I've always wanted a 72 gran Torino fast back. How much for this ? and where is it located ?.

  • That T/A is in nice condition for around here in SC actually. They're all ragged out here. That car has a lot of potential.

  • Id offer about a grand just to see what shed say then go from there!!!

  • 78 not 88

  • my neigbour has a trans am like that, sitting since the 90's

  • Here's a suggestion don't tell the owner what any other proud owner of a classic/rare car wouldn't want to hear of your plan for it...like stripping the car, using it for demo derby's, parting it out.... your just asking for rejection and a punch in the face

  • The only problem with buying a collector car like that t/a, is you gotta do something with it, rather then beat the hell out it, on the farm. Destroy the cars like those crown vics that aren't worth a whole lot.

  • i would give her $5,000 cash for it, would be nice for a project car

  • @Jeffreyrno your sooooooooooooo smar..dumb

  • @10yroldcarlover ahhhh we meet again you fuckin little cocksucker..... i think your name say's it all!!!!!!!

  • @Jeffreyrno i dont know you and you offering $5000 for any of those cars isn't smart, you could buy any of those cars in great condition for $5000. please im getting tired of childish argumants so argue with somebody else, im not 10 anymore

  • @10yroldcarlover I know you and your fuckin immature dude... i know people that would pay more for that car i thought i was low ballin bloke, $5000 for the car and getting it shipped 4000 miles away is not a bad deal considering the shipment bill would be $2000 - $3000.... even if i did buy that car for 5 g's it wouldnt matter because i have the materials and equipment to clean it up and paint it the original colors that wouldnt cost me a dime... this isnt my first rodeo you fuckin pussy

  • All they are worth is scrape price.

  • 4:49.. dang is that an automatic lol

  • any car is a money pit doesnt matter how new or how old

  • Black one is worth more than the gold one but had they been made in the "smokey and the bandit" (77 i think it was) days they would be worth a bit more.

  • well it dont look like it was wreck so it could be a great car to restore

  • Buy up that Torino, and paint a white stripe on it, and you guys can play Starsky and Hutch, at the farm.

But yeah, 81 was last year of that body style, t/a. Then 82 changed more aerodynamic sloped front end.

  • @JamesReadythe5th

Yeah! THAT's who I was trying to remember with the red Torino! I think the one in the show was a newer model, but this one would surely work as a stand-in.

    .

Yup, the 1982 Trans-Am was the car that K.I.T.T (Night Rider) was modeled after.

  • @rickbell7 Ya, that Torino looks like a 1973, with that square grill, then 74-76 were like Starsky and Hutch.

  • @JamesReadythe5th

This one is a 1972. Many years ago I had a '72 Torino, in yellow. I always liked the 1970's Torino body style.

Too bad this red one had the living snot beat out of it.

  • that's one trippy lens.. my head hurts

  • actually the 2 lane blacktop yellow car was a GTO Judge the other was a 55 chevy

  • Comment removed

  • @RedneckDerek1969 55 Pontiac? so they used a 55 to imitate a 55 Chevy.that James Taylor(singer)used, and I understand it was also used in American Graffiti as the 55 that Harrison Ford used.

  • So, this woman owns a classic Trans Am, first owner... And she just happily tells you and the rest of the world she's the only owner and that she just leaves it rotting there, all this, without fearing for her life? If someone told me that they leave a classic musclecar rotting in their backyard, I'd smack them in the effing head and take the car, with or without permission! O.O People should respect old cars better!

  • It's a 79-81

  • if thats a 88 then im god lol i have a 79 looks the same and they changed the body style that year to so no way its anything after a 79 still nice tho

  • to be honest what do you need more a new truck or a car like that

  • and that gold ones just a stock firebird

  • 79 threw 81 had that nose, my dads got a 79 and i got an 85

  • and if it's a 5 speed it's the 400 if it's auto it's the Oldmobile 402

  • but that's no 88

  • they ran that body style from 77 to 81

  • The black TA reminds me of the movie Smokey and the Bandit. youtube.com/watch?v=nZZPalUHlxc

  • bloke you said the marino was in good cond farkk the cards and the cills had rust holes in them another thing you said you know were a few are but your just goto find them thats fucking stupid if you new were they were why would you have to find them

  • Too bad the owner never took care of it.............. What a waste.

  • good shit bloke

  • 78 81

  • I've got a Trans Am sitting right across the street from me that hasn't moved in at least 2 years. Red, 80 or 81. Looks good, but not sure if it runs or not.

  • yeah i guess thats what happens when you ask a woman anything technical about cars. she must be smoking crack cant remember what year she bought it new

  • They are only worth what someone is willing to pay for them.

  • it is either a 1979 80 or 81

  • Rebuild it as KITT and skyhill the damn thing

  • Yeah that's a '79

  • Good vids Bloke keep it up, Luv them old cars.

  • You gotta give Bloke credit here, he doesn't know very much about cars, but he does try hard to please us.

  • @wavejumpinseadoo i like it.

  • They only had that body style until 1981. In 1982 they came out with a totally new body style which i still don't care for even today. My brother had a brand new 1981 red turbo Trans AM with T tops. Haven't seen one just like it since. Nice vid.

  • get the torino!!!!!!

  • @naher1 "Get the hell out of my yard"

  • The first car doesnt look to bad u should try and get it and retore it with dave and video it

  • I agree with mch51802. It's an 1980, not an 1988.

  • i think you should try'n buy that farmall

  • No way thats an 88. Thats an 1980.

  • "derelict - One whom is of the white trash community, poor, has no working job, and unpleasant to be around."

  • @ILoudNLow931 That's a reprobate, not a derelict which refers to inanimate objects.

  • That first one is 1979-1981. Headlamps are different in older cars, and newer ones has compleatley different body.

  • 79-81

  • thats an 80

  • trans am-$2000 CA plus cost of restoration

    Gran torino-Asking price

    other trans am-$1500

  • 500-1500 depending on condition

  • ay 3:19 i have the same farmall A tractor

  • No more than a thousand bucks. Lots of parts yur gonna need. I had an 81 and it was fucking awesome.

  • hey bloke first pontiac is a 79 red car is a 72 gran torino the pontiac is more than likely bad where the leaf springs connect at the front of the unibody my 73 went bad there and the spring came thru the floor would like the 72 torino but to much money to ship to florida take care and have fun scott in florida

  • 78-79 for sure

  • smoky and bandit

    Buy it

Dave can be smoky and you can be the bandit

  • its a 78

  • sorry there is no whay that is 1988 it to me would be more like 1978 or 1979 a 1988 would have ben used on the show night rider

  • Its. A 78 he probly knew it was a 78 but said 88 my mistake lol i do it in my videos all the time but yeah if it was a 88 it would have my bodystyle but with a wrap around wing:)

  • I had a 77 firebird , wish i never got rid of it . traded it for a Datsun 510 BRE edition

  • def good to restore all of them dont wreck it or bring it to salvage

  • I know how to wreck one of those cars...put a honda civic motor in it.

  • thanks for the tour bloke!

  • $2500.. 1980-1981 ...

  • This is a 1979 - 1981 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am, looks to me a 350ci, floors probably rotten.

  • Did anyone see that '59 Edsel in 3.36? That's quite rare.

  • @maurijohannes thats what I said it was,lol. An Edsel Ranger,lol

  • Bloke, let me know what you think would be worth putting up the farm

  • Hey Bloke, this Trans Am is a 1979. You can tell by the front end.

  • i have idea you look fore clasic cars and dave and gang can bring them back to life and you sel them lol

  • Bloke, let me know. I would like to pick this up for the farm, contact me, crazycatlover

  • @WhiteStarVlogger please dont farm that car, it deserves better!

  • Not an 88 at all but I'd pay about 400 for the car currently due to the fact that 300 in paint 180 in body another 300 in interior 200 for brakes and what not 1000 for a motor rebuild so you would have to put at least 2 to 3 grand minimum to get it driving again but it would be worth it considering you could resell for about 8grand

  • i jizzed meh pantz! beautiful car!

  • the 67-69 firebirds are badass.

  • Sorry Bloke, the trans-am is not an '88. '78 maybe

  • thats not an 88 the 88's had flip up headlights not sealed beam

  • id rather have the dark interior but cool cars in ther time for sure

  • There is no way that is an '88...looks to me to be a '79 model.....

  • @bherrimanjade no thats an 88 model my fadder got the same one in storage now cause its winter the 79 model got the bumbs on the front where the head lights is

  • Comment removed

  • @bherrimanjade 78 79 forsure

  • definately not an "88 there Bloke... ;)

  • You should see if that guys will sell a few of those cars for farm use

  • The transam is between a 79 and 81.If the body isnt rusted too bad it would be one bad ass car restored.Prol get 3-4 grand for it...The torino is junk..The gold firebird was nice.

  • Hey block I've got some scrap silver about 100 grams that I don't need

If it can help with that project I'll like to send it to you

  • Comment removed

  • Bloke is bigtime hooked on the Trans Ams...

  • i hate ppl who let old cars sit and rot away.

  • Fixer up bloke! BTW the last year of that bodystyle was 1981.

  • Always nice to see some classics and old iron still around way too many end up crushed and melted down.I hate to say it but many of the cars you scrap in canada here in the states we would still be driving them and patching them together. One of my biggest beefs if that most the steel is going to china. We alreaddy have way too much from china were did the quality well made stuff go sheesh.

  • You should go look at a Celica or Toyota Supra

  • both of those f-body pontiacs are 2nd gen and from a 79 to 81 as how the front end with the headlights like that.fyi, smoky and the banbit car was a 77 with the screaming chicken on it lol.good finds tho bud.

  • Gran Torino is hashed. The Trans Am is worth just about whatever she wants.

Dave could restore that Trans Am if he was into it. his Mercedes proves that and he did that years ago. Many, many vids can come of a project like that. Something that could be done over winter in his shop.

    That would be cool :)

  • that firebird is beautiful!!!

  • My dad had a red '79 Trans Am... Ive vowed to eventually have one just like his, cept with a 4 speed instead of the automatic

  • this was cool bloke!

  • I really wanted to see the drivers side, on the gold trans-am, eh,

  • ahh the last of the real pontiac classic american muscle too bad pontiac went under

  • For old cars in the 60s and 70's in Australia people want atleast 17k just for a SHELL. Nowdays most mint classic 70's modals go from anywhere of 150k - 450k. Some old guy bought a 71 Ford XY GTHO Phase 3 for $1000000!!! it was on the news and all even on you tube. However there is only about 4 original phase 3 gtho's left but bloody hell they are worth a fortune here
