i like mine it runs great and fun to drive i do know it was susposed to replace the mustang but with lack of a v8 and the automatic tranny was junk so it wasn't a big flop the engine the 2.5 v6 and the 2.0 4cyc. were pretty good engines and i think that mazda still uses them in new cars so something must be good about them

for you guys who don't know shit... the ford probe was designed to replace the mustang. it was going to be called the mustang. the only thing that stopped it was the mazda engine and the front wheel drive. which was only in place because of the high gas prices at the time of design. just as the new "mustang" was about to hit the market the war ended and gas prices went way down so there was no need for a efficient front wheel drive mustang.. so they made a new design... renaming this the probe.

alright i can justify my self. i own a '96 ford probe it have just over 109400 miles on it. EVERYTHING is original except for the tranny and thats only bc he put in a racing tranny and ran nitrous though it for a while and that messed it up so the tranny is new but other than that i have not had an problems with that car and its still fast as can be that enough for you or do you want more?
the probe is not as bad as my ford windstar =P..the windstar is bulky and has a horrible v6 motor that tends to misfire after the head gasket goes into shit. ah but i don't drive that anymore..those were high school days..im now a proud accord owner haha
