I had to switch the difficuality to easy for this boss, because Odette liked to use 3 or 4 healing moves in a row, making it impossible to finish her (maybe I was a little underleveled). Tried so many times. Switched to easy, and beaten her without any item.

I think Odin is one of the most interesting characters in the whole game. His sprites is kickass to begin with but its funny to see such a small guy in comparision such as Oswald stand against such a big guy with such huge fists. =)

But to see Odin change in the ending of everything is quite beutiful.

I believe part of the reason Oswald loves Gwendolyn is the fact he can empathize with her as they have lived very similar lives. Both of them desired their fathers' love, despite their fathers treating them as objects. They are both feared soldiers. She is Odin's Witch. He is the Shadow Knight. As he was spying in Odin's castle, he witnessed her soft side, unlike all the other soldiers he had to battle. He was intrigued by her soft side and he himself gained one when he fell in love with her.

Ugh dude Odette was the worst I died like 20 times when I first went against her. But when I leveled up to level 41 it was so freaking easy to beat her, especially with that shadow-technique thing that makes your after-image attack. LOL

A bit of advice when facing Odette: Use a Shine potion when you face her, because certain enemies can only be struck in light, even when you can see the battlefield.

Oh I HATED this boss the first time, I wasn't strong enough in phozon and hp skills to beat her, since I had no clue of the recovery she did. Afterwards, leveled up both things and got that 20%(?) attack bracelet and went much smoother.

Yeah. The biggest problem in Odin Sphere is that it tends to lag up when there's a lot going on. A consequence of going for the quality, hand-drawn images, I guess. >>

i always used one strategy when fighrting bosses: use first shadow ally then overload., you'll be finished in less than 2 min..

this is the end of Gwen's storybook after you complete the first 6 chapters. a real pain. be careful on ch 3 you mostly had to rely on alcemy and magic on the main boss.

She thought Odin cursed her with a spell that makes her fall in love with a person who wakes her up first (this happens after you finish Lord Brigan). Since Oswald is the first person she sees, she thinks her love for him is caused by a spell.

Oswald actually loves Gwendolyn.

Odin used that as his advantage when Gwendolyn broke the rules, he cursed her into losing her valkyrie status into becoming a wife. Little did she knew that she would become the wife of the enemy.
