Definitely not in tune, its pitchy. It means that they arent very good singers and need studio effects to make their voice better.

in my opinion... im pretty sure thats what it means... unless im mistaken.. and yes they do play sharps/flats depends on where u take it from.. i personally haven't seen them live, but in their album, he doesnt sound anywhere near this crap... idk if its a fluke, or if he actually sounds like this...
