  • did't you test drive it b4 you got it?

  • @cbrRida310 Yes, but I didn't have transmission problems until after the first failure at 480 miles.

  • enjoying your jap quality? look at the bright side, you coulda bought a toyota and crashed and burned too death

  • @meattube4u33 Yeah, the Toyota won't stop and my GT-R won't go. Kind of ironic.

  • that's such a shame, that's a fantastic car I hope to own one someday, hopefully fully functioning.

  • whats the song called?

  • Hammerton is there something wrong with the seat man? I feel like punching you just by looking at the video, I could not imagine what it would like to ride next to you with all your nervous ticks... Calm down man..

  • what music are u listening to? I like it!!

  • Instead of going through the headache of trying to get anything done in court maybe consider talking to a local tv station and letting it run all over the news.

  • waste of money

  • i guess nobody toldl you not to use launch control

  • Dam i feel for you man :( id be so pissed.

  • Maybe its time to dump the car, sounds like its been causing you a lot of trouble!

  • I've been considering it but it cost over $86,000. I tried to trade it in when the transmission failed 3 weeks later and 400 miles they offered me $58,000. They told me the market for the GTR was 'soft'. I ask if it was because of the transmission fiasco and they had no comment.

  • @hammerton510 I am very much surprise, I had a problem with my transmission, and my Nissan dealer was on the top of it ... I think you should use a different dealer, your Mecanics is probably the problem. Did the Nissan USA expert came to see the car? For this kind of behavior, the engineer from Japan may be interested to debug it.

  • @hammerton510 What state do you live in? I went through a similar issue with my S5 (and in fact its reoccurring in my M3) I may be help you out with perusing the lemon law if that's the direction you want to go. I have never had to deal with Nissan USA before but the Germans have been pretty helpful.

  • wow...you just got bad luck...

and by the way the tranny is a manual.. but it has an automatic mode.. FYI.. read the manual.. thats what i did.

  • that is crazy. this only happens in auto? you dont ever have issues with the manual?

  • I use it to drive back and forth to work in traffic so I have no reason to put it in manual. I had hoped to take it and my Ariel Atom to the track but after being warned about warranty issues and having a transmission failure at 400 miles I don't think my particular GTR can handle the stress and I don't want Nissan to void the warranty.
