I played football my whole life in this is a classic. Everything in this movie occurs in real life I never get in any trouble for all the dumb things I did because I was on the team.

We'd buy a pound of blow from some Columbian and get lit up and just prowl the campus raping everything we saw. We'd beat dumb nerds trying to study within an inch of their lives and get drunk and stomp kittens to death and sacrifice babies to the devil.

We prayed before every game and loved Jesus though.

I played football my whole life and this is a classic. Everything in this movie occures in real life. I never got in any trouble for the dum things i did in school b/c i was on the football team. There were players that took steroids and no1said anything. Girls would flash us before practice started every day. They should have shown more drinking. We use to get wasted at parties. We considered ourselves family. God and prayer was huge, we prayed before evey game and team meal. God Bless

@valeriom73 So true. I went to college late so I was like 21 my first year and I got put in athlete dorm, and basically lived with the basketball team.  The my first night at college the girls and boys basketball team ran a train a girl, together! Coming home to things like this became normal after a few weeks. So you're aboslutely right, there is nothing in this movie I didn't see happen in real life. Especially with a Program that is winning big. Just look at Penn State.

Lattamer's character should've been booted from the script after that scene to show how serious universities take player conduct on and off the field. But since the point of the movie is to show how messed up a college football program is I can see how relevant it was for the movie

I think that this movie was made to give most folks a look into a world that they haven't been able to see until ESPN began covering the college scene 24/7. Most of the material is over the top, but it's a good instructional movie about the dangers facing student-athletes in college.
