First of all that's patrick doing OTHER VOICES. And NOT trying to BE Franky! Those are examples of his voicework...This is the same guy who played Ichigo Kurosaki's father...I think he can pull it off. First of all, Second they have the same voice actor for Luffy as they do Yuko (XXXHolic) Which proves how versitile voice actors can be. in other words. DONT MOCK IT TILL YOU TRY IT PEOPLE!!! Many other things too, episodes are way ahead, manga is way ahead, its just the roots of the show. If you were a fan of One Piece you would always be looking for the next thing. For instance I had never seen a character quite like Paulie in the show before and really wanted to see him in the dub. Maybe its just to bit more conformation to people about the character. Also many people wont just start watching or reading a series if its not familiar to them in a way. All three are just theories but everyone has their own opinion

Okay people please stop saying how terrible Franky's voice is it not him actually DOING Franky's voice. These a parts from Koi Kaze and Texhnolyze (not the best examples for picturing Franky with). This is the same guy who did character like Isshin Kurosaki (c'mon "GOOD MORNING ICHIGO!), look up some of his other voice work I think that he is a very good choice for Franky. Most voices are better than 4kids such as Luffy and Ussop because they put more emotion into it but I think I did prefer Sanji's brooklin accent over his normal voice and Human form Chopper sounds better in 4kids. I also prefered Wapols voice in 4kids because it suited his character...
