This is such a powerful song. Not in a million years could I comprehend what this song must mean to Frank. The idea that anybody could even write a song so powerful and honest is beyond me.
If there is ever an apocalypse we need Frank to play this, it could bring even the toughest man to his knees with a hand on his heart and a tear in his eye.

I believe the line late in the song is supposed to be "but each can be redeemed by the courage with which he confesses" I remember Frank identifying that line as one of his favorites on the album, so when I read through your lyrics I thought they might be incorrect.
