DO NOT buy this Outterbox for samsung galaxy s2. Cover causing the problem with microphone.

opposit callers hears themselves twice. There is problem with mic because they are deeply hidden in the case. And this causes echo effect

Some good advice - If the persons you talk to over the phone experience echo (only their own voice), it is probably due to the silicon that covers the noise reduction microphone at the top. I had a lot of problems, but after I have cut the "flaps" covering the NR mic and the USB/charger the problem is gone!

@Adam12384 If you're worried about getting it in and out of your pocket, don't. I had a the same case for my blackberry 9700 which is quite a bit thicker and still got it in and out without problems. The hard shell really helps. Thanks for the great review btw, I just ordered one for my S2. Love Otterbox!

@Adam12384 I'd say it doesn't add too much bulk to it. The phone still feels lighter than an iPhone and it definitely protects the hell out of it. Lovely case, i believe.

I just got this for my AT&T version. The case fits perfect. The only issue is that the noise canceling mic is covered as its is in a slightly different location. However it does not hinder talking at all. Also I did not use the screen protector. Next I will try and fix that top part from coming up. Maybe double stick tape. I will do a video review of mine this weekend.

@ShadowSwitch777 When I got the Samsung G S2 i bought the case mate barely there for 40$ and i accidentally dropped the phone and the case mate case fell off and dented my phone. In my opinion " It is a shitty case mate barely there!!!" Waste of money in my opinion. I can't wait for this ottercase to come in the mail. Hope this helps. :)

agree. the best case as far as I'm concerned. i have for my iphone & samsung gs 1. i accidentally dropped my phone a few times...1 time on concrete... no scratch no crack....phone working well still... worth it.
