I knew about Peter Marshall since I was a child. I saw my mother reading the book back in the 60's. I just saw this movie for the first time 11/18/11 and am ordering it for my home DVD library and for gifts to people I know will appreciate it. I was moved to tears several times during this movie. I don't know why I waited so long to see the movie.
Wonderful Counselor, Mirghty God, Everlasting Fater, Prince of Peace - Pastors today give the same message LIVE in church with passion. Hollywood today would not author a movie that had full sermons of truth ~ and as a result what Hollywood does influence is women who wear scanty attire, swear and act like men. Increased Violence, fantasy, and sex is what Hollywood is responsible for today. Buy this movie at AMazon and have some neighbors over.
