Don´t know really why..there is something about the guitar melodies..the atmospheres on the songs..all combined, gives me that swedish melodic feel..like if I´m walking on a prairie or something.. A romantic melancholic feeling. Amazing record! In all senses!

Insomnium, Immortal Souls and Amon Amarth are my favrouite Melodic death bands, Insomnium is so atmospheric yet so heavy, Amon Amarth is devastating, and have one of the best growlers, and Immortal Souls is so catchy, melodic, and winter themed, great for listening to anytime, espicially winter though

why are people bitching and moaning about other metal bands? yes, Children of Bodom and Soilwork and others have a bigger following (i think) than Insomnium and Amon Amarth, but that's because they all have different styles of playing. Insomnium (IMO) is more appealing to poets(maybe?) and people who prefer slower stuff. AA is all about vikings(<3), and CoB and SW are fast paced and fun. Personally, I love all the bands, so don't criticize them because their music isnt your feel.
