Der Grossteil der Bevölkerung ist zu dumm für einen modernen Staat und die georgische Elite kennt nicht so etwas wie Selbstkritik. Also genau das gleiche was den Europäer vom Muselmannn trennt.. Thank you, the border crossing from Russia to Abkhazia is possible for Canadians. In here, in the capital is also a lot of palms and in the area of the former UN headquarters is a real semitropical primeval forest. There you can watch no 3 metres in front of yourself. Now it is accessible, there is also in the capital a very nice botanical garden if you feel like I can show to you it, if I am not here so my friends able to show you it.
In winter it becomes not colder than 5 to 10 degrees cel. and in summer it can become up to 40 degrees. The humidity is extremely high course the Caucasus does not let the clouds over its mountains. The clouds allow to rain and so humidity . the vaporisation of the sea brings the remaining humidity.

It is not possible to come legally from Georgia to Abkhazia. The bridges are destroyed and the Abkhasian border guards have closed the border. By border injury you might get not less than 2 years of prison. The only way to Abkhazia goes by the border Psou. EU citizens from the old EU states get without problems a visa (exception Sweden and England). EU citizens from the new countries get no visa (exception Bulgaria and Slovakia) .
I would still wait some years. At the moment the politics is full of emotions. The Georgian attack and the EU support for it is still in the bone of many people in Abkhazia. Also elections are this year in Abkhazia. What makes the situation for foreigners from unpopular states even more dangerous

It is OK. I remember Eshera1. I wish I have met both of you to better discuss about the things. My great-grandfather escaped from Abkhazia when communist took over and he considered himself Abkhaz. Then he settled beteen Samegrelo and Imereti and changed his last name. But later he continued visiting his church in Abkhazia.

@307georgia ich kenne das Grusenpack genau und bleib lieber in Abchasien (ehemaliges Georgien) und streite mich nicht mit Menschen die nicht einmal "Eine" Sprache gut können. Dein Georgisch ist bestimmt genau so schlecht wie dein Deutsch. Es ist gut das Du die Grenzen akzeptierst. @307georgia Habe mir vor 2 Jahren in Abkazien ein Haus gekauft da wie wovon ich ausgehe Abkazien bald ein Part von der Russischen Forderation wird, bin selber Russe. eins kann ich sagen, da sogar meine Eltern dort aufgewachsen sind dort leben viele Abkazen, jedoch auch viel gemixt mit russen, die meisten in Abkazien sehen sich als Russen, Rubel ist ofizielles zahlungsmittel und amtssprache ist Russisch/Abkasisch abkazen hassen den Westen vor allem die Grusliken, lieben Russland und China (osten)

@307georgia Das Problem ist nicht die Politik sondern die Primitivität der georgischen Bevölkerung. Der Grossteil der Bevölkerung ist zu dumm für einen modernen Staat und die georgische Elite kennt nicht so etwas wie Selbstkritik. Also genau das gleiche was den Europäer vom Muselmannn trennt.. Georgier sind keine Europäer sondern eher Kleinasiaten. Du bist der beste Beweis dafür und eine echte Chance für meine Zuschauer das zu erkennen.

Yeah, the coast of north Abkhazia has seen 100 years no snow. The climate is semitropical and eucalyptus grows since 1929 in the area, the first palms were brought in 1905 to Gagra and tea in 1899. Before the area was of wild semitropical bushes and trees "overgrown". Malarial mosq. everywhere. The eucalyptus has exterminated the illness and the flies, there grow small bananas, kiwi, tea and citrus fruits.

It is such a beautiful area and it makes me happy to see that there are many palms planted. I have known about that region for many many years because of the palm trees. Other areas with palms at more northern latitudes are southern Switzerland and the UK. Cheers

Thank you, the border crossing from Russia to Abkhazia is possible for Canadians. In here, in the capital is also a lot of palms and in the area of the former UN headquarters is a real semitropical primeval forest. There you can watch no 3 metres in front of yourself. Now it is accessible, there is also in the capital a very nice botanical garden if you feel like I can show to you it, if I am not here so my friends able to show you it.

In winter it becomes not colder than 5 to 10 degrees cel. and in summer it can become up to 40 degrees. The humidity is extremely high course the Caucasus does not let the clouds over its mountains. The clouds allow to rain and so humidity . the vaporisation of the sea brings the remaining humidity.

I want to go to Gagra. But does anybody know - is it difficult and dangerous for a EU citizen visit Abkhazia? I plan to visit Georgia, is it possible to enter Abkhazia through Georgia? Or rather hopeless?

It is not possible to come legally from Georgia to Abkhazia. The bridges are destroyed and the Abkhasian border guards have closed the border. By border injury you might get not less than 2 years of prison. The only way to Abkhazia goes by the border Psou. EU citizens from the old EU states get without problems a visa (exception Sweden and England). EU citizens from the new countries get no visa (exception Bulgaria and Slovakia) .

Learn to forgive eachother for what happenend and learn to look at what binds you instead of what seperates you. Georgians and Abkhazians (as well as Vaynaxis, Circassians and Dagestanis) have so much in common in regard to culture, music and clothing.

Russians want the same as the Americans, complete control of the Caucasus. Currently, Abkhazia is Russia's puppet just as much as Georgia is America's puppet. Abkhazia and Georgia voluntarily victimise themselves in the battle for global domination. There is indeed no need for anti russian feelings. There is a need for pro caucasian feelings. Abkhazians aren't Russians and Georgians aren't Europeans. They are Caucasians. Realise this, work together, and the Caucasus will truly be free.

Right.. but a dream. Turkey, Iran and Russia is owning parts of caucasian Mountains. It is hardly to get Kars back from Turkey,Azarbaidyan from Iran or North Caucasus from Moscow. It is OK. I remember Eshera1. I wish I have met both of you to better discuss about the things. My great-grandfather escaped from Abkhazia when communist took over and he considered himself Abkhaz. Then he settled beteen Samegrelo and Imereti and changed his last name. But later he continued visiting his church in Abkhazia.
