you seriously. like come on. most of the people were down there for the wrong reasons. and i can know for a fact that half the people even down there were underage street kids looking for a party. homeless shelter kids from aroun there would pitch a tent for an excuse to party. like thats not what the movement was about. you lost a lot of respect for that. protest all you want during the day... then go home! dont set up tent in a park that clearly states on a sign NO CAMPING IN PARK!
people absoloutley do have the right to protest.. nobody is saying they dont. the city let them camp in fucking grand parade for weeks before they told them to leave, and only so they could hold the remembrance day ceremony. at first their movement was respected and supported. people took way too much advantage of it. i walked down twice and got asked if i could get ecstsy once and if i couldfind weed twice. like grow up. it just became a drug infested sh** hole. of course no ones gonna take
People have right to protest for as long as they please to do it. For protests that lasts for week or months is absolutely reasonable to put up some tents. Does government expect those people to just stay on cold and sleep on pavement?
I hope protest never stops. And argument that policemen arent guilty because this is their job is BS. Every person must stand for his believes and actions. If they were moral persons they would quit job or disobey orders.
