For the GO launcher just go to their website via your Kindle and download the apk files. OR google search the apk files and you will find them and they should auto update as well. Hope I helped.

I've installed the Kindle Market several times and keep getting the below message:

The application Market (process com.android.vending) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. The it provides a 'Force Close' button. Doesn't matter if I try again or not, will not work. Also, following the instructions will place two (2) icons and apps on my kindle. What am I doing wrong?

@megusta535 no it will not, as long as you unroot your kindle before sending it back. it's very hard to check if the kindle has been rooted once you've done a factory restore

to get go launcher if ur not in the USA,just go to settings>device...then allow installation of applications ....press OK on the warning,then go to the web browser...google go launcher apk....d/l it ,then in the top left corner,press ur name and click the d/l apk file and it will install

For those who are outside the US and can't get Go Launcher EX because you can't access Amazon AppStore, the solution I used is called Market Opener. I can't post url on comment but you will be able to google that with keywords market opener apk.

Just browse to it on your KF and hit "Get The Kindle Fire Market Opener". You can then access the Market and replace this with Go Launcher Ex if you want :)

Thanks Jeff. Managed to get it working but not through adb push. Somehow adb remount was not permitted. So just in case others face the same problem I did, I used a hybrid approach of copying the files Jeff provided to the internal SDCard. Then I used RootExplorer to transfer them to /system/app folder, reset permission to 644 and installed them in the order of adb push from your instructions. Restarted and I'm greeted with tons of wonderful apps on Android Market :)

Kindle fire is useless out of the USA because you won't be able to buy anything from your browser UNLESS you got an ip address changer. I wouldn't recommend buying it. Amazon prime won't work for you
