In order to get to see the secret messages you have to press Down, Down, Down, Left, Right and then A while on the title screen and then the sound test screen will appear. On the sound test screen you type in the sound code you can see at the beginning of the video to get that secret message.

This was a time when the Sonic team spit into two...who knows y. :p I actually forget why they did. when they did so they created two completely different sonic 2 games causing the storyline to go in two completely different directions. If you read the manual Tails is just a fox who tries to keep up with sonic during his second adventure :p pretty cheesy

@UnivingIshiro it maybe is cause Tails didn't appear in Sonic CD but in Sonic 2 where Sonic & Tails first met. So Sonic met Amy at first than Tails, Knux & the others...

@Evilriku13 OK,so i reflected something and this was my conclusion:In Sonic 1 everything runs fine,but in Sonic 2 there's a split up of the Sonic Team.So both teams made a Sonic game:Sonic 2 and Sonic CD,now Sonic CD may be Sonic 2 because he haven't met any other Mobian but the Flickies,while in Sonic 2 he meets Tails.Now if you think about it,you will notice that he travels through time to stop Robotnik and meats Amy.Also the model they used was from Sonic 1....

@Evilriku13 ...In the other hand if pay a close atention to Sonic 2,it seems like they didn't wanted to put Super Sonic until Sonic 3K at Doomsday Zone.So maybe when Sonic traveled through time,he altered somethings that wasn't meant to be,like having partners(also in the altenative opening from Sonic 3 he doesn't appear with Tails,meaning that he wasn't planned at all).

@Evilriku13 That's a factor I havebeen thinking for quite a while,which was the first factor that made me think that CD was actually Sonic 4 and when you see the official Sonic 4 ep.1,he Sonic went without Tails,meaning that maybe when Sonic meets this adventure Tails was on his own adventure(Tails game).

@UnivingIshiro I'm pretty sure its completely canon with the regular games, but in my mind there's only two places it could possibly take place. either between Sonic 1 and 2 or at the same time as Knuckles' story line in the Sonic and Knuckles game (The latter being my current personal belief) Sonic 4 episode 2 is supposedly directly linked with Sonic CD so I think we'll be able to draw some pretty stable conclusions after that.

@padmescurl Sonic 4 episode 1 takes place immediately after Sonic and Knuckles. However S&K has two storylines, with Knuckles' taking place after Sonic's. Sonic CD, I think happens at the same time as Knuckles' story in S&K.

So I think it goes Sonic 1, 2, 3, Sonic's S&K story, Sonic CD, Knuckles' S&K storyline, and then Sonic 4 episode 1.

@DynastyGuy well sonic 4 episode 2 says that they continue the events of sonic CD, so its sonic 1 sonic 2 sonic 3 sonic and knuckles and umm idk. probably means....... sonic CD takes no place anywhere None. sonic 4 continues after sonic 3 and knuckles so.......... sonic CD comes after sonic 4 episode 1!

@DynastyGuy @Univinglshiro Not that plot continuity really matters in these games anyway outside of Sonic 2 and 3 and the more awful 3D ones, but the one thing you guys need to remember is that Sonic CD was developed concurrently with Sonic 2 (and, in fact, was originally meant to be a Sega CD version of Sonic 2 before going wildly off the rails). With "See You Next Game," they're literally referring to Sonic 2, since this game was held back so Sonic 2 could have '92.

In other words: 1>CD>2>3K
