I think the bigger issue is how Ford continuosly imbellishes stories, like how his daughter was with him, and it was dark outside while being ambushed and prevented from getting in his car. Or how like he wasn't even at that Leafs game. And then it became he was at that Leafs game but didn't say anything, and then finally admitting to his comments. I know who the character is, but it's such a profoundly stupid concept that I really can't fathom who put it on the air, or who'd have the level of obliviousness needed to actually perform the role. The only forthright part is her unwillingness to keep her mouth shut.....which is not verbal assault. She did not stop him from getting into his van.....he was free to not participate if he chose to....and would have come across looking much better if he could have learned to be civil in the whole thing. He could have easily been direct...without being the ass he was.
