I agree with bfjgreen - merely doing and seeing the knots is like practicing calculus in mathematics class - without practical applications, it all just just comes and goes without a sense of purpose. Just as the one poster wrote for your Becket's Bend knot video, the actual application(s) and limitations need to be shown early and clearly.
Is this more of a decorative knot, or does it have some pratical uses? If so what would they be? BTW - loving the KOTW videos, thanks for making them. Could I suggest a series on quick release knots? Siberian Hitch (Svenk knot) would be good.
This helped out a bunch but the his hands made me nervous! Slow down just a bit

Keep making these - they are very good resource on how to make different lanyards/knots.

This is a four-strand Crown Knot, and not all Crown Knots are round.
Thanks for the comment!

@ITStactical Does this knot go by any other names?

What is the relation "feet of paracord/lenght of the knot"?
TJKV 2 years ago
Out of two non-gutted 26" lengths of paracord we used, we were able to make around a 3" Crown Knot pull.
So that's around 8.5" of paracord for every 1" of completed Crown Knot.
