It was a one-off concert as a warm up for the music box tour. It was released as a home video and the official videos for Hero and Without You were taken from performances given here, that's why it seems there's thousand of performances of her in the same theatre and the same dress.
Actually, this is on DVD, it's called "Here is Mariah Carey" or "Mariah Carey". This is the same concert where she performed "Hero" and "Without You", which would later be used as music videos for the singles. This DVD is hard to find so I suggest you order it from Amazon, which is what I did.

Here she is perfect but now a days she's terrible! She would never sit on the edge of the stage these days and sing to the audience, but then again back then she wasn't the diva she is today. It's such a shame.
hehe no, but she switches the flowers to her other hand and pulling the mic with her, yet you hear her voice clearly singing as if into a mic.. this show became a dvd, so they dubbed the voice for better quality and reduce all the screaming from the audience, so u can notice they did it there...its no biggie, but i always notice these things..hehe

This isn't live, it's dubbed because it's from the official dvd, you know they add studio 'polish' to the vocals. I don't think that Mariahs voice has deteriorated that badly, yes it has changed but it would with all the work she's doing. What you have to remember is that most of the videos of 'old' mariah on here are like official so they have retouched vocals. The newer videos are fan recordings and likely to sound worse.

I think Mariah is one of the few singers who's voice does not go off when performing live. She makes alot of movements and her voice remains crystal clear.
I think that all Mariah needs is a good month of no singing and sleep rest and I think her voice will bounce back, her voice seems to be reziliant cause if u notice her vocals during the Rainbow tour weren't as good as Charmbracelet tour and that was a couple years later, so it has to be lack of rest and maybe a little bit of training, but us fans sitting her talking about it aren't going to change Mariah's habits of rest or whatever she needs to do that.
True, i just think her voice has worn out a little over the years..using vocal chords for that long can sometimes make them a little rough. I still love everything she does though.

That's bullshit. Mariah of the early-mid 1990's was impeccable. She didn't start the whole lip-synching thing till 1998.

This isn't live, it's dubbed because it's from the official dvd, you know they add studio 'polish' to the vocals. I don't think that Mariahs voice has deteriorated that badly, yes it has changed but it would with all the work she's doing. What you have to remember is that most of the videos of 'old' mariah on here are like official so they have retouched vocals. The newer videos are fan recordings and likely to sound worse.

I think Mariah is one of the few singers who's voice does not go off when performing live. She makes alot of movements and her voice remains crystal clear.

I think that all Mariah needs is a good month of no singing and sleep rest and I think her voice will bounce back, her voice seems to be reziliant cause if u notice her vocals during the Rainbow tour weren't as good as Charmbracelet tour and that was a couple years later, so it has to be lack of rest and maybe a little bit of training, but us fans sitting her talking about it aren't going to change Mariah's habits of rest or whatever she needs to do that.

True, i just think her voice has worn out a little over the years..using vocal chords for that long can sometimes make them a little rough. I still love everything she does though.

I think if she started working out and got in really good shape, she'd have enough breath to sing almost as good right now. I think she is out of shape, and thus most of the reason why she's not that good today, as compared to the early-mid 1990s. I remember seeing how she said her brother got her a home gym, but she doesn't use it. lol

I just don't understand how these people that hate Mariah so can't resist clicking on every Mariah video on youtube. There has to be like thousands of videos on youtube but with your hate for Mariah you always manage to click on one of hers. If you don't like her fine but let the rest of us enjoy the video. You pair have to be the weirdest losers I have seen for an age, and I have seen a lot of total bigots about recently. Time for you to gang together and crop up in other artists who create and appreciate this type of music, say Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Mary J.
