  • hello, Just bought a aero 50. Love your videos! I will be donating as well. Do you have a video installing a big bore kit. That would be super helpful! by the way, how long is your clutch tool you made. thanks,Dan

  • Randy yours videos are awesome and they have helped me greatly. Please set up a PayPal account and I will donate you 3 euros (4,1 US$). When you have received enough donations via PayPal, you can transfer the money to your bank account with no fee. People donating to you via PayPal will have their money more faster transferred to your account compared to normal mail. And it doesn't cost the senders anything, and neither does for you of course!

Thank you and keep doing these amazing videos. :)

  • Set up a Paypal account man. It's much easier to donate. Count me in for it then :)

  • I have a paypal account on my public channel page if you would like to donate. My email is there and I have had the accounted posted for months now. Thanks for liking the vids. Randy H DSD

  • I already donated :) hehe.

  • I donated also just a moment ago :) Soon enough money for the HD-camera?

  • I'm more like a sperm donor, but I'm afraid Paypal doesn't accept this^^

  • $3.00 on the way

  • Your Videos are awesome, keep up the great work, did you get the three bucks from Japan?

  • Yes, I did and thank you very much. Japanese envelopes are totally cool the way they open. Thanks so much, Randy H DSD

  • your videos are great they have saved me so much money thanks a bunch :)

  • Only 9 comments on this video, come on. 333 technical videos and counting and I've learned something from each one.

I for one want to thank Randy again for all his one-handed hard work to give us these awesome videos as a visual library always available if you're wondering about something.

Did you get the three bucks?

Keep up the good work, love em all.

  • Is this sam or todd? I sure did get the money and thank you so much. I just made a new video and I publicly thank you. check it out. Sincerely, Randy H DSD

  • Thanks Randy for the great vids. I'm at the point where I have my engine torn completely down and am ready to install the new crank bearings and crank. My hold up is the crank puller, there next to impossible to find on the net. At least for my minarelli MA 50 LC engine. So I think I am going to make my own puller. What do ya think?

  • Buy a cheap steering wheel puller lilke the one shown in my crankcase tear down vids. Get some long crank bolts and securely hold the puller to the case you want to pull. Use the large center screw to push against the end the crank and slowly pull the cases apart. You only need to pull the cases 3/4 inch apart, and thyey will fall away from each other. RH DSD

  • Also find a minarelli dealer and look at his rebuild books for your model. The proper crank tool along with stock no, will be in the book. Alot of dealers will let you borrow the puller or can re order one for sale to you. RH DSD

  • One more question if you don't mind. What do you use to take the old silicone off the case halves where they mate. I think I wil use 3 bond to seal it back up.

  • I use mr. gasket grey moto seal, this is used on dirt bikes where the cases are split almost weekly for rebuilds. I clean both surfaces and put a thin layer on each side and let it dry. After the cases mate, together, I run a bead from the front of the engine, all the way under and up at the back of the cylinder. THis is a very important step as a leak here will never let your engine idle right RH

  • That I did; that's funny how we think alike. No, I did that to separate them, and all went great:

    1) Crank is out

    2) Bearings are out

    3) Cleaned the halves with engine degreaser

    4) Am in the process of putting the new bearings in the case halves

    5) need to pull the crank in

I bought a Sears Craftsman steering wheel puller and long crank bolts from Fastenal. Like minds. Haha

So you think the scooter shops may borrow me the puller hah, wow I'll ask em.

  • It could be better if the people could donate to a paypal account of yours.

  • man, im not a owner of a scooter but i love your videos. im currently about 90 percent done with the swap of a snowmobile engine into a golf cart and your vids have helped about more than you would think. the principles of two stroke engine design are very accurate and helpful. ill definitely consider a donation. maybe a week or two worth the pocket change?? it adds up. i promise.. lol

  • Thank you. Randy H DSD

  • arh what the hell i will send you $20 dollars from aus.

  • Thank you Mate. Cheers- Randy H DSD
