@yankeefan42 I tried doing that for the first two scratchboards I ever did. It worked well since I was in the stage of getting use to the process, but I would recommend avoiding it. Sharpie has a different sheen than the normal hue of the board. Thanks for the input! :)

You can correct mistakes on the scratch board by using a black sharpie and coloring in the problem area
