@RightHandofTrance: Not many know about this kind of music because it isn't easy listening, so it can't be commercialized and promoted in mass-media. To be honest, you have to learn how to feel it and listen to it. I remember my way from cheesy commercial "trance" to underground vibes from early 90`s :-)
Are there real goa parties anymore?

My evolution into trance happened in a similar fashion from cheesy ''trance'' to REAL trance. To be honest, Goa is great where it is and it is where it belongs, the underground. I also agree with you on the point that you must ''learn'' to appreciate these styles of music. As to what pertains to goa parties, i'm sure you can find some goa parties around (probably more likely in Israel and European countries more or less) but they are of much lesser quantity then they used to be.
