1.Press start button.

2.type on the search bar: Bitlocker

3.press on it and enjoy.

Warning: Bitlocker is only made for windows 7 (Ultimate) not home edition or professional lol

I just encrypted my usb, After it was successfully encrypted I took it out and plugged it in again. Now it says ' You need to format your diver to use it'

Bitlocker is cool, but it has a major flaw, which I hope they will fix in a future update. You can not re-lock the drive with out shutting down the computer. The only way to do this on the running system at the moment is to run a command from the terminal window. What I would like to see is a bilt-in re lock feature and also a time-out feature that will lock the drive after a set time of inactivity. It's hard to believe Microsoft missed such an important feature.

My removable hard drive is too big to encrypt, it will take probably days. I am trying to disable Bitlocker, but it does not work. Every time i start my window's 7, Bitlocker automatically starting encryption. Then I use Task Manager to kill it but it will never disappear.

Any Ideas on how to stop Bitlocker's encryption? I tried to remove its password, nothing worked.
