I got rid of Comcast cable internet and I'm glad. They "guaranteed" us 15+ Mbps, but we never saw 4Mbps. Now we have DSL, and it's sooo much faster... and cheaper! Is there something wrong here? :P

I love how people think fios is better, verizon owes comcast money for cutting their cable lines when installing fios, also fios is more expensive but at the end of the summer comcast is going to be at 50mb or more, and their prices won't change whenever speed goes up plus their install fees are cheaper :) my mom had verizon come out and they were going to charge her 80 bucks to install a phone jack, comcast did it for 20. :D I like comcast more and I never had a prob with their support.

I got rid of Comcast cable internet and I'm glad. They "guaranteed" us 15+ Mbps, but we never saw 4Mbps. Now we have DSL, and it's sooo much faster... and cheaper! Is there something wrong here? :P

wish I could say the same. I even paid extra for boosters to be put in line, but nope. Still shitty service. And don't get me started about the HD channels that are almost as bad as stndard cable as far as picture quality lol.

What's wrong with this guy? People who have never worked in a call center do not realize the bs that call center people have to put up with.. and I am not talking about people who do outbound..( though they do too) seriously, have time frames that calls have to be handled in, and people like this guy who are calling on the behalf of every d. bag in America are making discruntled customers like yourselves wait on hold LONGER .

Get a call like this and it happens to be graded then ...we get fired and lose our income. It really isn't funny.

If I'm not mistaken, Comcast hasn't had to sell any of its subscriber base. However, Verizon sold over 700,000 hard lined customers without even notifying them. Yeah... I'm looking forward to Verizon... Jesus Christ people... it's just television... Can't you find something else to do, and if it's that bad... Quit bitching and find something else.

That's an easy answer, but don't be a jag. We pay for a service. We pay a great deal. These fuckups can't seem to provide it without any significant problems. I have to contact them every six to eight weeks about something relatively major. Yes, I will be switching to Direct TV and any other internet cable provider, but these companies have a pretty good monopoly and are screwing us. Fuck em.

I love how people think fios is better, verizon owes comcast money for cutting their cable lines when installing fios, also fios is more expensive but at the end of the summer comcast is going to be at 50mb or more, and their prices won't change whenever speed goes up plus their install fees are cheaper :) my mom had verizon come out and they were going to charge her 80 bucks to install a phone jack, comcast did it for 20. :D I like comcast more and I never had a prob with their support.
