When I read the book, I was amazed at how the tiniest details from the previous books (the tiara in the room of requirement, dumbledore's ring, the diary from book 2, etc) were all tied into the ending. JK Rowlig must have either planned the entire story arc from the very beginning, or just been very, very good at tying up the loose ends :)
