I am totally against racism, because I despise all religion equally. However, there does seem to be a specific issue with Islamic communities failing to co-operate with the wider community. Practising Islam is fine, even though it's bullshit, but isolating yourself from other religions is a disgusting and divisive practise. That is the root problem we need to solve.

They have often asked for help from the other European nations in handling the influx of illegals and migrants coming to their shores and have been stretched thin. But no one in Europe helps. Since the migrants who wash up on Italian shores end up all over Europe it is all of Europe's responsiblity.

The American "melting pot" idea model is best. People who immigrated here were expected to adopt American values. New immigrants may have lived in ghettoes, but the first or second generations proudly identified themselves as "Americans", not hyphenated Americans. And they integrated into the mainstream, gladly losing whatever cultural impediments were necessary to do so.
Then we started teaching that "Our strength is in our diversity". Nope. Our strength has always been in SHARED values.

Why do you think they live in New York? Its because if they did that shit in the midwest or south they would be been run out of town. The people who live in the Midwest and south are a mix of Scots, Germans, Irish, English, Welsh, etc. but the thing is they all now view themselves as American period.
