i love this band but really had a super soft spot for them b4 they got the fiddle...it drowns out their mandolin player and he's really the best around
@jbrown883music dont tell me i have no taste in music. I've seen this band lots of times and YES I believe he's one of the best around. And I've heard alot of live mando players. This song does no justice the fiddle just drowns him out.
@dmeckle look up codeine the lyrics version and listen to the mandolin solo or should i say annoying tremelo.......its 7 notes over a whole break that he plays annoying tremelo through.....its crap..........look up mike marshall or chris thile.....they totally dominate the crap out of this guy!!!!!!! he just trys to look good by playing the fastest most mindless crap ever and while hes at it he decides to have no technique and try to beat holes through his instrument he is not near to the best

Trampled by Turtles is ONE OF THE MOST LIMITED MUSICIANS IV SEEN. Can this mando player from TBT play the Dm partita or The Brandenburg Concerto's then go play some strait up bluegrass then go play a little jazz, NO DONT THINK SO. @bgrassguy145 i know who chris is yes he is excellent. i've seen the mando player for TBT play super long solo's i've also seen alot of bluegrass and yes i do believe he is excellent. you have to remember that trampled isn't a true bluegrass band more of a string version of a punk rock band.

And i don't care that they aren't a true bluegrass band, in fact i prefer the progressive stuff, and don't really even listen to "true bluegrass" But these guys are just terrible. I DON'T CARE what genre of music it is because i don't make genre distinctions. There are two kinds of music, GOOD and BAD. And they are just plain bad. In fact if you wanna talk music genres then these guys have there own thing going. Its called SHIT.
