lads to-say can't feel what we felt in the old days when we saw a nice girl passing by. what many of them usually do to-day, is simply counting 1, 2 n 3 and then to bed!
nice, so this is the music of my parents when they were my age, makes me think of highschool in the seventies, when u see a girl u like and the world stands still (yeah i know, its corny)
I find it interesting that the Wynners and Peter and Gordon versions of this song have the line, "Go to pieces and i wanna hide," while the Del Shannon version has the line, "Go to pieces and I wanna cry." I wonder why that is. I know he wrote it, but why would the other two changer the lyrics? They were perfectly fine the way they were...
I remember this was a big hit for the Wynners in the 70s. It is a sweet song and I have heard many other versions since. However, this version has a special place in me as it was the first one I love being an idealistic teenager then.
Do you know what the story with Del was? Someone said that the recording people screwed him ? Not sure. It's been said that he had lots of demons to deal with?

Me gusta muchisimo como cantan esta hermosa canción, no desmerece en nada con la versión original de Peter & gordon.

De hecho la version original fue de Del Shannon (muy conocido por temas como Runaway, Hats of to Larry, Keep Searchin', entre otras).
