  • Oh loving Heavenly Father please let my children's heart be softened and that they will permit me to see my precious little granddaughter again. We miss her so!

  • Wonderful voice...... God bless you

  • A pitch perfect voice; incredible talent. Sounds so rich with the male choir.

  • I love this song so much

  • nowosielce by nora linkins

  • 好感人的場面

  • Great song. Wonderful singing. Don't care for the arrangement though.

    Tnx 4 posting.

  • I will like to meet this choir in heaven!

  • Hayley, you and your voice is so beautiful.

  • Lindo! Lindo!

  • Eines Ihrer besten Lieder überhaupt.....einfach unglaublich.

    Ich liebe dieses Lied

  • lol what's horrible with her dress, not like her boobs are showing, is it the one shoulder that is expose? lol at least she dresses better then some artist.

  • Beautiful song, well delivered.

  • @pishti68 I am a big advocate of modesty also.... but not everyone believes in that, and we can't force them to. i think she looks beautiful and has the most beautiful voice, and i think we should appreciate that. I also think that we should be grateful she is not wearing a cocktail dress to go with this beautiful song.

  • @rainonmyface Also appreciate the unadorned elegance of the acappella rendition, devoid of sounding brass and tinkling cymbal which can only detract from this sincere and aesthetic statement of gospel song.

  • Magnificent - all over chills. What a superb rendition. The bonus for me is that my grandparents adored the song. Thank you for a glorious post.

  • In een woord Prachtig

  • @2500grit ----Besides I see nothing wrong with her dress.....

  • music and interpretation is good. however, you could have worn something more decent given the fact that you're in church and people need to be focused on God and the message delivered instead of judging your strapless dress. sad when decency leaves the church. my point and i'm sticking to it.

  • @pishti68 It had one strap. Let's call one strap a reasonable compromise and drop the subject...hey, wait, I would like to rephrase that.

  • @pishti68 wtf?! get over yourself and STOP criticizing!!!!! it could have been waaayyy worse.

  • LOVE THIS SONG!!!!!!!!!!! <3

  • This is awesome!

  • Marvellous. Hayley's the very best, & the Cornish Male Voice choir do us proud, like the venue, Truro Cathedral.

  • Absolutely wonderful! Her voice is like an angel, the song is beautiful, & (I'm so proud to say) the Cornish Male Voice Choir is superb too!! Safi sana, mzuri kushinda yote (Swahili praise). :-)

  • "Whispering Hope" (1868) by Septimus Winner (1827-1902), using the pseudonym Alice Hawthorne.

  • that was a different version to what i sung, still beautifull though

  • Makes me proud to be white!

  • @furchina -_- ... this choir does need a little diversity though lol...

  • My mother taught me this song - no two voices were ever better

  • she's kinda bodacious in this vid...and i like it.

  • you amaze me...I hope to sing like you someday :) May God bless you!

  • this is how an angel would sing it wonderful my mothers favourite god rest her soul

  • Beuatiful song and i love her dress!

  • she hsnt got many new songs

  • beautiful singing indeed!

  • We sang "Whispering Hope" in church all the time. I see it's represented now as a Christmas song. I can see why. She makes it sound like Christmas.

  • thumbs up!

  • This rendition of this timeless inspirational is about as good as I'd ever expect to see/ hear. It is indeed food for thirsty souls. I don't understand how the comments were diverted to what the dear lady is wearing.

  • nice voice and the boys in the back are have nice second voice....amazing....

  • Love love this version. Love the angelic voice. love the choir and harmony. Wish we could sing like that...

    Wanna learn..^_^

  • Hayley, You have the most beautiful female voice I think I've ever heard.. God Bless, and keep up the good work...

  • that dress is quite modest compared to many. I didn't think it was at all "immodest" at the top. It would be a shame to expect women to dress in a certain way just to please men who can't look past physical female beauty.

  • I think that both class and modesty are subjective. I think that she looks classy and beautiful - I agree that there are many woman today that dress in a trashy and unnecessarily provocotive way, but I don't think shes one of them. There are some men that would have a woman covered in a Burka for all her life - where would you draw the line?

  • i agree with you seriously what did happen to modesty i always dress modest and always use the 4 finger rule she looks pretty but if it was modest i would be happy

  • What is the 4 finger rule. Please explain.

  • @nossful oh do get over yourself, will you?

  • @grl008

Listen! I cannnot help it that I have so much discernment. Sometimes I try my very best to humble, but let me tell you that it surely is a chore! Thank you for your comment!

  • i think that's the same dress, she wore to the White House!!

  • perfect and thanks

  • Perfect what more can I say 5*****

  • The choir is the Mevagissey Male Choir from Mevagissey in Cornwall, UK.

In May they came 2nd in their class in the International Male Voice Choir Festival held in Truro.

  • For "ony551213" and "Aringalad". Hayley and Sissel are both beautiful singers and I love them both. Why compare them, just enjoy each of them for who they are, beautiful women with beautiful voices.

  • great!!

    thanks for posting

  • Very nice version. Choir is excellent that backs her.

  • That nearly brought me to tears. Fantastic.

  • Some say:

The voice of the century !!!!

  • i really enjoy listening to her and she also sang all the songs in endless ocean game

  • Undoubtly, Sissel has a crystalclear voice and she's very talented, but you may feel it's a voice of an opera singer; there're so many with such voices - see , also, Angela Gheorghiu, or Kiri Te Kanawa.

But Hayley Westenra's voice is out of any canon of vocal music. She just sings for nature - she sings any sort of vocal music with an angelic voice, doubled by an angelic complexion. That make her so special.

    She's a Pure Treasure.

  • Since you say Sissel has an operatic voice, I must as; what kind of songs have you herd her sing? Because, sure, in songs like Mio Babbino Caro and O Sole Mio, then she sings very operatically, but there are a lot of other songs. Try Denti Du Astri, Du Är Den Ende, Vårvindar Friska and some other of her songs in Swedish, Norweigan and Icelandic, and you'll see that she has many other sides. ;D

  • Aringalad,

I like the "other sides " of Sissel, as well as her "operatic voice". And I like the northern Traditional, as well as all Traditional music from all over the world. It's not that one is better then other. All are the best.

It's not that Hayley is better then Sissel, or otherwise. It's a matter of temperament - the way a voice or a music touch someone's heart.

Mine is for Hayley, but I love Sissel's music, especially the Traditional one, too - and, also, love her fans.

  • Most beautiful voice EVER!!!

  • What a treasure! I have most of her music but never tire of this song. Thanks for sharing! John

  • I aggree I listen to it over and over.Made a cd for the car.She has the best female voice I ever heard.Gary
