when i first heard this song, i immediately knew i had to get the tape. NEAL is awesome on guitar. the intro and riff, cuts like a power saw. BLEED, BLEED, BLEED BABY. that's all this song does.
I've made the same mistake of placing a 90's hit into the 80's decade. Let's just say "we who remember the good ole days" of solid performances that yes, spilled into the 90's, miss it very much. I'm proud to be a rocker! Y&T, Scorpions, Def Leppard, Ozzy, Europe, Original Journey, Hardline, Dokken, Kiss, AC/DC, Bad Co., Whitesnake, Bon Jovi, Boston, Night Ranger, Foreigner, Van Halen, Loverboy, Winger, 38 Special, etc...
@72tubecat What? No Cinderella in that list? Motley Crue?? Cinderella IMO is the one of the most underrated bands of that genre. I liked the Y @ T inclusion in your list....
@mkam11 Oh yeah, Motley Crue , Cinderella, Dam Yankees... soo many bands I can't remember anymore until I hear a song. Last concert was years ago at the Concord Pavilion. Montrose, Satch, Y&T. I was a bit liquored up at the time but Y&T kicked ass. Liked Satriani too. Sammy Hagar was not with Montrose but they did okay.
I didn't see my favorite 80's chick magnet, the Pontiac Fiero??? Damn, I used to have to clean the footprints off the inside of that little 2 seater every day in the summer
Heard this by chance on the radio yesterday. I really want to find more bands like this that do more of this 80s/90s rock, probably my favorite genre of music.
Actually this is Not an 80's song. It comes from the 1992 Hard Line Album: Double Eclipse and features Neil Schon of Journey Fame. This is an excellent album.
My first car was a 1983 Red Mustang GT w/T-Tops, 350-375bhp and no Stereo but lots of Rhythm came outta the Dual Exhaust! Awesome song! so under-rated
I can't believe that I missed out getting to see these guys when they toured Florida back in '92. I knew of them because of my interest in Neal and his music, but had never heard Hardline's music. Didn't pick up the album till years later ... and realized what amazing songs they wrote together. This one has become one of my all-time kick-ass favorites.
What a shame more people don't know about this rockin gem! Then again may not be a bad thing that its wasn't overplayed! Makes it even more special! Rock on!
This is not faggoty Rock!! :DDD
I miss Much the 80's :´)

If this would have come out five years earlier, Hardline would have hit huge.

This was a great album - course, nobody knows it because it came out the same year that Grunge killed hair metal.
