I hated both Gears 1&2 multiplayer. This game had good online gameplay though.

i think the multiplayer is about the same as cod mw2 though with some differences, here i like the 3rd person view and the melee combat style and in cod i like the kill streak rewards and being able to customize the weapons (this game would be perfect if u could cusomize the weapons in multiplayer like campaign) cod campaign sucks

ohh how you are wrong on soo many levels my friend, quoted best from Cliffy B "gears 2 is going to be bigger and better" the campaign was the same length and lackluster and the multiplayer relied on multiple hosts for one match, taking away being able host matches was a terrible move, so the multiplayer will lag on top of the slow gameplay that gears 2 offers, all in all it is one of the worst sequals ever made but only to the hardcore fans of the franchise, Gears 2 is a terrible game PERIOD
