  • Thumbs up if you love and can play this song :D

  • Because everybody loves Adrian Brody's hands.

  • @trullo795 what do you mean it doesn't work? And, this piece is advanced.

  • @trullo695 what do you mean it doesn't work?

  • I have a problem... I want to learn playing piano and I have a piano... but it don't work... and in my town nobody teach piano... I don't know what I must do!!!

  • @Trullo795 One; if your piano is dead, buy another. Two; music shops generally sell self-teaching piano books for adults as well. If your music shop doesn't sell it you can go to a teacher's shop that teachers get their schooling books from and see if they have piano books.

  • i like richter's interpretation better.

  • @druglover200 who doesn't??

  • I'm studying this nocturne...it's very sublime... :)

But, sorry...where is it in the movie "The Pianist"? I watched it yesterday, he never plays it, I didn't listened to it during the scenes...I also checked the end credits, and "Nocturne in E min" is not present... Maybe there are some deleted scenes in the Italian version? (I'm Italian)

  • What if a foreigner is trying to express himself here, ... is he allowed foreigners' mistakes or is he also subject to the language gestapo?

  • it's not music inspired by the film, is music by chopin, one of the great romantic pianists, the film is inspired by the music

  • @MisterMolloy Actually, the film was inspired by a book of the same title by, you guessed it, Wladyslaw Szpilman. Clearly, the music is appropriate for the film and everything...No question of that.

  • @MisterMolloy You need to learn how to differentiate between 'inspired' and 'composed'.

  • @Montyleeny14 fair point yes, the music was composed by Chopin, not by the person who made the film. Roman Polanski was inspired by the music composed by Chopin when making the film :/

  • Frederic Chopin: Fantastic pianist. (For those who say "Pea-ih-nist"... go fuck yourself. It's "Pea-awe-nist")

  • @NahaleGuitar Do you hold a goblet of red wine while pronouncing pianist like that?

  • @BruceLeeKills1 Maybe. :P

  • @conewicci

It sure does. Just another example of how people ignore basics in the English language. People actually think you "drive" a plane or a boat; this is no different. Don't even get me started on "their", "there", and "they're."

  • @LordTyrannus Many hears ago, on a teachers' demo, one bright young thing carried a banner proclaiming: "Your kidding!" I think we owe a lot of linguistic inadequacy to American film makers. One example : "........I shrunk the kids." The word ;persuade' has almost disappeared from American English, being superseded by 'convince'.

  • This song is for you, RIP

  • J'aurais tellement aimée savoir jouer du piano, c'est instrument si magnifique si beau!

  • @pititefollenono jamais trop tard....pensais justement a m'y remettre ca doit faire 4-5 ans que j'ai arrete

  • @PmalWD c'est du bon music non?

  • Favorite song to play in the piano!

  • Oh never mind, it's Janusz Olejniczak :)

  • Does anybody know who the pianist is? I really like his hearing of Chopin.

  • @Katie811000 it is Adrien Brody

  • @niveditavasant Adrien Brody is only the actor, i was wondering who the actual pianist was, the one who plays this particular piece. But I got it figured out aready, thanks though :)

  • @Katie811000 may i know who is it??? :)

  • @niveditavasant Zinedine Zidane

  • @IPyrgus I hope that was a joke. He's actually a french soccer player.

  • @scorseseboy Ahah ou guys need to work on your sarcasm.. Of course it's a joke, I m french, I know who is Zidane dude!

  • @niveditavasant Janusz Olejniczak, I said it in the comment below.

  • @Katie811000 You talking about Władysław Szpilman? his biography was the basis...

  • @Katie811000 or about performer?

  • @BananowyYe the performer. I know the movie was about Szpilman. I'm talking about the guy who played the piano specifically for that movie.

  • @Katie811000 oh ok. : ))

  • i bought the piano sheets at my local store for my further study........ DAMN it's hard to play!!!
