Great trailer! I like the new monsters. Especially, the Screamers. I bet that Murphy was a serial killer and he drowned his victims or something like that. One of my biggest wishes for this game is to see Murphy and Gunningham enter some serious combat situation. That and also difficult puzzle. This game is going to be awesome!

@egoftcp1 Agreed with you 100%.Oh and I wanted to believe that Murphy was innocent but the producers said that he did commit a crime (but I guess we won't know what it is until the end of the game) I heard the choices you make during the story will change the ending. So maybe the endings will be like this...

Bad Ending:Murphy is a serial killer

Normal Ending: Murphy killed a serial killer who killed his wife

Good Ending: Murphy ran over Gunnigham's dog with his car :D lol

I'm getting this, mainly so I can do a walkthrough ony my channel but other than that im not very impressed. This is another case of modernisation in games. Notice how everything is "Bigger is better" now. Huge environments and climatic scenes. Think back to Silent Hill 2, the only big environment was the outside world. Everything else was in cramped hallways and old ruined buildings. This is too open to be scary.

I look at these trailers and don't get the true creepy Silent Hill anymore. Now that Akira is gone it is sadly no longer Silent Hill. The American developers cannot live up to a true original Japanese horror game. The original men that made these games are now working on the Siren games and 2 are working with Kojima. For those who are new to SH e.g Homecoming I would ask you to play the originals and not the new HD bad voice acting. I look forward to a new Siren as it is the same men who made SH

Wasn't gonna get this game until I saw this trailer. This is the best game trailer I have ever seen. I really cant wait to put this game in my PS3, pick up the remote and a bottle of Coca Cola, and just play it for hours and hours. Fuck Modern Warfare 3 and Battlefield 3! Silent Hill Homecoming was not scary at all. They turn the psycological horror into an action game and to make it worse they added the pyramid head in the game who was supposed to be part of James' guilty mind, therefore, only James can see him. I hope that Downpour brings the true meaning of Silent Hill back.
