Don't be so sensitive. To answer your question though, yeah, I do think it was quality playing. Definitely way better than the 80% of guitar videos where people are just attempting to cover other peoples music. Also not the greatest guitar playing by any means, but IT WAS A DEMO.

@CuttemJack All SE models are flat top. The American built 25th anniversary models are carved though. A lot more money but a better guitar too-some think almost too nice/pretty to play. Both are excellent. Just depends on your budget.

@Rpaterson33 Its recorded direct out of a Boss GT-10, just because we could do it all on headphones as it was a really busy day in the store. That means it sound a bit dry and 'DI'd and the distortions a bit fizzy but its just meant for you to get a closer good look at the guitars. Cleans always come out really sparkling though but for distortion best to mic up the old amp !! Noisy noisy!

Will give the new Line 6 HD pedals a go on the next vids this week, see what they sound like.

@danukenator123 I reckon they look good up til about the 12th fret. I am tossing up betweegn getting the normal custom 24 SE or the 25th anniversary edition. The Normal one is $95 cheaper so I might get that. The only issue is, will the 25th anniversary edition hold its value better?

I agree with everyone else. I have this exact axe in scarlet red. Threw a couple of chrome covers on the pups, addad an extra tone control for individual tones (Personal thing, I like flipping the switch to the neck for a softer vibe) And added a "Kill Pot" in place of the gain knob Which gives you that machine-gun muting effect when you tap it instead of having to use a Les Paul and destroy your pickup selector. The guitar was AWESOME in the first place. Now it's a GODLY AXE! mods $60 from M.F.

he changes the volume and tone knobs, the original's are black and plain looking..

Its beter than a standard mexican strat..cause..got neck through body & hot pick ups..damn..i'd suggest buy this one over a strat unless its a emg strat or american

@helldx07 I have both. lol. But if you do get a strat, you can make it really sweet by adding a Dimarzio fast-track rail pickup in the bridge for balls, while leaving the fender pups in mid and neck. Then they're not so bad, but off the showroom floor? PRS wins every time. SE over mexican strats, PRS top dogs over American strats. They're just a great company, but I still love my Fender beauties for their tone and vintage class. :]

The difference is the carved top, electronics, and tuners. I love the pickups in mine, It stays in tune, and the flat top does not bother me. I blindly felt the necks of my guitar like the one in the video, and an American Custom 24 and felt no difference.
