@Iiimitation well yess any car can do it, but only BMW has it integrated. if you use an iTrip on any other car, you can't use the car controls to change songs or apps or playlists, you physically have to use the iPod. BMW makes it one system. So it is a new innovation.

They say it works with apps too. What kind of apps? Just music ones I hope. Pretty much what any $150+ aftermarket head unit could do a year ago. For that person who mentioned sync. That seems like a much better system as its hands free and is not limited to just apple devices. Plus its a BMW electronic everyone knows it will be broken in 5 years ;).
