@iSOBigD The show was not purgatory...Season 6..sure, the "sideways" world was something like it. And if it was their idea from the beginning than how was it not original...you really think they just heard everyone saying it's purgatory and said..."great idea, let's take it".
@stevepants No, they probably thought of it ahead of time or as they went along. The point is it was still as stupid of an idea as having the guy from Dallas wake up in a shower after he died and say it was all a dream. Really unoriginal and lame and in LOST they left way too many storylines and questions unanswered or unexplained. I loved the show but you have to see its problems too.
I don't know about MUCH better. When they get the same quality guests Howard does, it's at least comparable. Thing is, O&A don't make the same effort to disguise when one of them couldn't give a shit, and that's where Opie is in this one.
