  • God bless him. He is a daily inspiration for me.

  • I've been down the road of thinking about ending it all and calling myself stupid in the mirror. When you have so many problems and so many bad things happen to you you start to think that this is fate or natures way of telling you you weren't meant to succeed. So I can sympathize with his friend.

  • damn he is a philosopher

  • Jack is just fantastic.

  • this is great, glad i discovered it.

  • I love u jack !

  • The wisest, friendliest, most charismatic man ever!

  • I listen to these little snigglets of Jacks every day while I work. They give me all the incentive I need to eat right and stay on my exercise plan. I do his facial exercises too and have been told how young I look for 62! He's been an inspiration for me since my mom watched him in the 1950's.

  • @yooperlooper you know what, I am 25 years old, I workout everyday, and I also listen to Jack every single day, because it really gets to me, and he gives me confidence to face everyday issues. I tell proudly to everyone that Jack Lalanne is my idol.

  • @jotenko Bless your heart!! Stick with Jack and you'll never age! :)

  • "You so stupid."

I truly do that everytime I screw up. I just stare at myself in the mirror and tear myself apart.

  • Yep, if you quit eating right (vegetables & fruits & lean protein)...that's a decision you make...you CAN control that...lots of things in life we can't control, but what we DO (exercise or moving around) and what we eat, we CAN control.

  • I shouldn't have to sell a kidney!

  • No one wants to sell their kidney

  • He was One of the worlds great wonders.xxxRIP

  • As long as I can watch this...Jack will live on for me during hard times...

  • @incrediblehulkmovies

He didn't die of old age or heart complications and stuff like that, he died of pneumonia, there's no way he couldve stopped it

  • Love this! We all need to hear more talk like this. My favorite part is that he put his client on a "program of nutrition", not a diet. Inspiring!

  • thanks fir posting all these things man!!!

  • Thank you.

  • So many years ahead of his time.....

  • How the hell does one of the healthiest men in the world die? He should've died in his hundreds. It does kind of deflate his image a little.

  • @incrediblehulkmovies - 98 is pretty impressive... but the main thing is he was VERY healthy and full of energy and vitality right to the end (until pneumonia hit him). I heard he still exercised daily, and had sex several times a week. His image was not deflated.

  • @topformfitness That shut me up.

  • @incrediblehulkmovies - Haha, well I guess you can tell I'm a huge fan of his. But I stand corrected... he passed away at the young age of 96, not 98. He's still my hero. (o:

  • i love the ending

  • Rest in peace, Jack Lalanne... you were absolutely right.

  • I have problems, you have problems. Why stop living just because you have problems?

    Words of reason...

  • "No problem is gonna be to big for us, 'cause we're gonna smash'em!!"

Best LaLanne quote ever! I see this video everytime I have a problem in my life.

  • When you loose all your money and are hopelessly in dept you feel sorry for yourself because you think you were meant to be that way. Why else would so many things go bad for you?

  • JACK LALLANE YOU ARE THE BEST

WE ALL THANK YOU FOR THE ADVICES!!

  • OMG!!! Had herniated disk, living with constant pain for over one year! I got therapy, lost 15kg, changed my lifestyle, eating healthy, exercising!

Came into some personal problems, got seriously down, Stressed, went back to eating bad, living unhealthy, up all night, sleeping most of the day & going 24hrs without sleep many times! Put on 14kgs, relapsed with prolapsed disk, been stuck on my back for 3 weeks in recovery, feeling like crap! Now getting therapy, lost weight, back on track! So True

  • AMEN!

  • Jack was born in the same year as my grandfather in 1914. My grandfather died 21 years ago and Jack is still going strong, so there's a lot to be said for living a healthy lifestyle, getting plenty of exercise, the right nutrition, etc. It also doesn't hurt to have the right philosophy in life.

  • Common sense teachings, that's all we need to do. Life is just that, look after YOU, at all times, then you will have the energy to correct your problems. We still have these so called problems, but that is what life is. Living!! It's how you tackle them. If your body is in tip top shape, it's easier to rectify, with enthusiasm ! We all can be lazy at times with our health, but life is always better, when we feel great within ourselves.

  • Lol!! The ending... "Uggghhh I shouldn't have to sell a kidney to get a...." ??? :)

  • This man is amazing. The perfect father figure and coach. What can I say?

  • Wow, you don't see too many people like that. How old is he there?

  • jack's awesome

  • director's of nutrition are all talk, but they don't practice what they preach.

What's awesome about Jack Lalanne is that he believes in doing something...go out and do it attitude. So he learned everything he can about nutrition at a very young age, I think 20...now he's like 95and still going strong. He lived long enough to see computers and the Digital Age.

    Amazing man!!

  • Jack is the man. All of the 'directors' of nutrition and exercirse are a bunch of over educated fools. Jack knows the real deal.

  • What's that commercial at the end?

  • A legend

  • I'm glad I grew up during the Jack LaLane era. He's an inspiration; a fitness guru decades ahead of his time. Live forever, Jack.

  • this man is great

  • Everyone needs to hear this, pass this around all!

  • I agree

  • I shouldn't have to sell a kidney to get a new....

  • I read your comment before watching the video.... and I was like "wtf"

  • Why don't you people listen to him instead of thinking about your problems?

  • What a charismatic man.

  • Great.

  • good one

  • i really enjoyed this video. thank you so much for posting it.

  • thanks for uploading

  • Thanks for posting swaldo2000, and thank you Jack for the words of encouragement!

  • Jack Lalanne is the man.
