@tobsterrox123 When did he wear t shirt and jeans? In the eighties he wore spandex, kimonos and wild cowboy boots. Even the shots of him with Zappa, I don't recall to many jeans and t shirt pics. ..and you are right, he is the best guitarist ever to have walked the Earth.

@xarthurz Orchest directing or musical direction, etc. I think that the right hand was like the one that directed the dynamics and the left the...im argentinian so I might say it wrong, the pace of the piece or the tempo or the time signature or whatever, something that has to do with that.

T_T but...what the hell do I know? Im watching a Vai video, I can´t feel like much now.

@Leni122 nah bro no problem, but i checked out a few videos on the jemini pedal and i didn't recognise that sound. maybe he has some sort of chorus effect or something as well?

@Chumbaweed On youtube is video where vai shows his gear. Look at this and maybe you can find something ;P. I remember that he is using carvin legacy, jemini and boss DS-1 and one other pedal, i don;t remember what it was ;p.

I remember i was reading somewhere how to get a vai tone and lots of people was just saying his tone is in his finger :D.

@Chumbaweed im pretty sure he changed the preset on his TC Electronics G-System for the next song (Oooo), cuz he only hit one pedal and it turned on multiple effects (chorus/flange and probably reverb). he talks about it in a guitar world gear tour video
