My mom has a '08 Vue XE, and it's great. I love how quiet it is and how smooth it is. This is the third Saturn in my family. My dad had a '92 SL2 Sedan, and that was totaled in an accident. He now has a '02 SL1 Sedan, with close to 180,000 miles, and still gets close to 40MPG on the highway.
For all of you who are not true Saturn fans dont waste our time buy writing false comments on these vehicles. I am on my 3rd Saturn and they have all been great my wife and I just got a 2008 Vue XR and I love it. The Vue has plenty of power its quite, smooth and luxurious. A great vehicle Its to BAD SATURN HAD TO TANK STUPID GM!!!!!!
If you like to look like a soccer mom, the CRV is for you. Same with the RAV4. I challenge you to try to pull a 21 footer boat off the water with one of your grandmas hondas and toyotas. And by the way, may be build in Mexico, but its quality is way above the clunkers produced in US plants. About the door handles, I don't know what you've been doing with them, since mine work perfectly after almost 2 years. And they are build in Zaragoza MEXICO, not Spain (there is a Zaragoza in Mexico).
POS - Don't even think about buying one of these, regardless of our current gas prices. Just step on the accelerator and you burn up 1/4 tank of gas. The door handles are defective, and, duh, they are made in Mexico. Saturn Corporation is of no help nor is the dealership. Yet another example of Americans getting ripped off by other countries.
Not exactly : there are three different models : Chevrolet Captiva, Opel Antara and Saturn Vue. The Chevrolet Captiva and the Opel Antara are available worldwide, exept in the USA and Canada where the Saturn Vue is the only available. This is the same car, but with different names and a few details. The specifications are common, exept for the hybrid version, which is only for Saturn.

I love my 2007 Vue! I think it's better than the 2008. The 2008 doesn't have a much cargo room or dent resistant panels.

I love this car....I can actually see over the wheel in it, thus making me feel taller than I actually am.
