  • The only reason the VULTURES are in Haiti is a propaganda photo op! Now Scientology leader David Miscavige is demanding current Scientologists donate to the IAS for Haiti relief. AS IF any of that money will go to Haiti! It's quite disgusting too that Miscavige is demanding books be bought to send to Haiti! No shelter, no food, no family, no MONEY, but that Way to Happiness will make it all better? It's quite sickening.

  • Of course the Scientologists will help.....but they will expect something in return, like your Bank details and commitment to their Church!

  • Scientology Volunteers are taking too much credit for what they didn't do! They are not as helpful as they proclaim to be!

  • I wonder what those monks that about all that.

  • "Somebody on this planet, about 600 B.C. found some pieces of 'R6'. I don't know how they found it; either by watching madmen or something. But since that time they have used it.

And it became what is known as Christianity. The man on the cross. There was no Christ!"

    - Scientology Class 8 Course, Lecture 10, 3 Oct 1968 ("R6" refers to an alien psychiatric thought implant)

To be true for you, you must observe Hubbard say it in his own voice:

    watch?v=qrMJUDkDWqc

  • I absolutely hate this video. Not necessarily because of the VM's though, they're not to blame because they're oblivious to Hubbard's hidden agendas - all just grunts doing their "jobs."

No, I just hate it because when a Scientologist teaches ANYONE ANYTHING that Hubbard came up with, a vein of corruption opens instead of a flow of useful and meaningful knowledge.

Infiltrating the Buddhist community with Hubbard's utter bullshit "tech" makes me rage.

Sorry OC, 1 out of 5 stars for this one.

  • As a comment opener, I mirror videos that disable comments and ratings, so how you rate this is entirely up to you. It gets confusing when people give me 5 stars for this (for opening comments) when I open comments to see how the video will truly rate. See my channel description.

  • Yup yup I get it. Old habit to say "sorry" for low rating a video from anon account. Looking forward to seeing how your channel grows. Dem foine idea you have going here.

  • Wow, prey on poor people who are homeless....you really are scraping the bottom Gumby- funny how you take something nice and crap all over it. Maybe you should look up the word "shame" a-hole- coz u ain't got none!

  • You're still missing the point.

There's no doubt in my mind that most of the VMs in this video mean well and intend on making the world a better place. Upper management of Scientology, however, is using these Volunteer Ministers strictly as a promotional tool, to spread their "tech" and to edit a video portraying LRH tech as good. The VMs are not comparable to other disaster aid groups, such as the red cross. In fact, they often get in the way.

    David Miscavige beats his staff.

  • By the way, former Scientologists Mary Jo Leavitt and Sherry Katz, who reached Operating Thetan 8, both blew this past week. I'm telling you this because, should you decide to reach that level some day, why should you have to blow $300,000 later discovering the corruption of the management and the fact that it is all a scam? You deserve better.

Which is more important: Stopping yourself from thinking bad thoughts about Scientology, or enabling yourself to think GOOD thoughts about YOU?

  • Dumbass Gumby- err Open, I didn't see YOU out there helping- Screw you.

  • And, as usual, you missed the point entirely. Whether I was there or not does not change the fact that Scientology sends its volunteer ministers to prey on the grieving and purely for PR. When Tory Christman was in and discussed how volunteer ministers were sent out to a disaster location, management didn't talk about how glad they were to help - they talked about "Did we get PR? News coverage?" Why? Because they only care about themselves and their image, to cover the abuses.

  • What do these abuses include? Oh, let's see. The Church of Scientology's leader David Miscavige physically abuses his staff. Sea Org members who get pregnant are forced to have abortions. Anyone who leaves the Sea Org without permission is declared an SP. Unmarried members live in small rooms with 3-12 other members, and denied proper medical care. Sickness is treated at the fault of the sick person.

And what do you do about this? You turn a blind eye, happily giving your money to them.

  • What did the monks have radiation poisoning or something? Perhaps they don't smoke enough or have too much money

  • That's good OpenComments.

Now you can interview me as you have done ExSeaOrg Members and show what your truly made of by giving facts from both side of the spectrum.

OR will you just keep it one sided and not get some answers from someone who has been studying and applying Scientology for over 30 years?

Ask away and get some answers that can make sense to you and all who truly wish to be informed.

  • My only question for you is why you weren't upfront about who you are to begin with.

  • Scientology is not a religion. During the 1950s, L. Ron Hubbard undertook a project of "religious cloaking", turning a system that had been promoted as a secular "science of mental health" into a religion through minor changes, such as referring to Scientology personnel as "ministers." This process has been detailed by former Scientologists. Furthermore, Scientology meets several characteristics of a cult, as defined by FACTNet.

  • You will note that this definition of "knowingness" would also be a perfect definition of belief.

This is not some trivial bit of Scientology - this is core Scientology dogma. This is tied to what Hubbard said about "OT" powers of "postulating". According to Hubbard, postulating is creating reality by just deciding that something exists or that something is in a certain state.

According to Hubbard, if you "postulate" something without any doubts or reservations, it must become true.

  • Defence lawyer Clayton Ruby did not deny that crimes had been committed, but he maintained that the wrong people were at trial. He used organization charts to underline his assertions that "the Guardian's Office could give orders to the Church of Scientology, Toronto, but the Church of Scientology, Toronto, could never give an order to anyone in the Guardian's Office". Ruby said the prosecution witnesses could not be believed, because they had all taken special training in how to lie.

  • Because Scientologists are trained to lie, you have demonstrated that, by posing as a non-Scientologist, you believe it is okay to lie. And because you believe it is okay to lie to achieve the "desirable result", you are not among the most ethical people on this planet (as Scientology advertises).

How many more people must be hurt by your cult?

  • Not only that, but hospitia (Henry Ospitia) is also a WISE member. The World Institute of Scientology Enterprises claims it helps businesses, but in actuality, WISE employees are obligated in taking Scientology courses. This method of recruitment is deceptive, Henry Ospitia is deceptive, and it is money like his that funds this criminal mafia and aiding in the harassment of critics.

    Well played, Henry, well played.

  • Let me quote from your webpage, Henry Ospitia:

"I was introduced to Scientology in 1984 at a time of my life where I thought I was living a normal life. I had accepted my ups and downs, my habits and fears as the way it is until I started to find out with the help of the technology of L. Ron Hubbard it was not so. "

You have lost all credibility, and confirm that Scientology not only tolerates lying but actually presents formal training in the subject.

  • Understood.

As I said earlier I will get information by looking at it my self and will conclude on my own .

As soon as start coming up with my own conclusions I will communicate it so others can also know my views on it.

    Thank you.

  • With that said - have you learned anything new from talking to me? That is, have you learned something that you did not know before? If so, I would like to request what that is.

  • I see and validate your persistance in communicating what you believe.

    That's good.

You have helped me increase the desire to learn more on the subject of Scientology which is something I need to do on my own.

I have met people with different stories and conclusions which I can not be for or against as I need to see it for myself.

I can explain to you quite easily the reasoning behind this if you wish.

    If you wish .

  • Please try and not look at it as me communicating what I believe, because that comes across as subjective. If David Miscavige beats his staff, that's a fact, not a belief. If Scientology breaks up families, it's a fact, not a belief. If Scientology forces women in the Sea Org to have abortions if pregnant, that's a fact, not belief.

For that reason, I would like to correct you that my persistence lies not in my beliefs, but in ending the corruption and abuse within Scientology.

  • Scientology not only tolerates lying but actually presents formal training in the subject:

"Purpose: To train the student to give a false statement with good TR-1. To train the student to outflow false data effectively. The student should be coached on a gradient until he/she can lie facilely."

-L. Ron Hubbard, Intelligence Specialist Training RoutineLying (TR-L)

  • miaorao.

    You really got me there.

You kept reading hundreds of HCOBs, books, hundreds of hours of lectures and then you find out that Scientology is much worse than you think?????

    Damn.HUNDREDS???????

Then after hundreds you find these out????

That's a little bit too much to swallow.

Your ability to evaluate information is sure needs improvement.

Now I have the 2 extremes, one who has never read a Scientology book and the other who has read and heard HUNDREDS of hours/letters.

  • Opencomments.

I like the fact you say what you feel and beleive in.

    That's good.

Keep investigating and doing what you do.

Just add to it the point of looking more for yourself before stating it's true.

You can very easily be manipulated by doing so and end up being the result you are claiming Scientology does to people and families.

As I said before I will look into it myself .

  • I didn't expect my conversation with you to end off on such a well-wishing note, and I thank you for that.

The truth of the matter is the Church of Scientology is far worse than I ever imagined. Every new thing I discover about them, I get an even worse feeling. I did not know that the Church of Scientology kills/poisons pets of critics, until a few months ago

Never have I been so clear in my conviction that Scientology is an extremely dangerous and abusive organization.

    Thank you.

  • One last thing.

Also check what your intention is .

It sounds like you have one in mind before you come up with your conclusions about things.

Same goes with miaorao over there

    It's called a PREconceived idea.

I will be getting my book soon, start reading and will also visit a Scientology Church.

I can assure you I will not read nor listen to HUNDREDS of hours nor many books to see if its appropiate or not.

  • Hospitia, calling my intentions a "preconceived idea" is incorrect data, because I have been watching Scientology's actions for years. My conclusions are generated through hours of independent research. At first, I was on denial that such an organization is capable of getting away with the things that they do, but as I dug deeper, not only did I realize them to be one of the most dangerous scams around, but a very abusive organization as well.

Listen to ex-Scientologists', heed their mistakes.

  • You have spiked my curiosity like I never had before about Scientology.

I'll bet your doing the same for many others.

    Thank you.

  • You are welcome.

I still wish you would take the time to read the website xenu(.)net .... it has information critical about Scientology, and the webmaster welcomed everybody, including Scientologists, to state any wrong information on the webpage with sources and he will correct it. Will the Church of Scientology ever do the same thing? Hell no - they will deny it like the business that they are, and continue deceiving people. I protest against their deceptive practices of misinformation.

  • You lied to me, hospitia, when you said the following:

"This subject of Scientology I can not say either way as I have to study it 1st and by myself make my OWN conclusions.

Not what others say about it as I will find stories from both sides, good and bad and both would like me to agree with them.

BUT I will make my own conclusion once I read Scientology 1st hand."

    Mr. Henry Ospitia, you LIED

You have your own webpage, and you've been in since 1984. So lying is second nature to you then?

  • How do you know this?

I have asked several people who have an opinion on Scientology but do not get an answer which can be verified other that someone else said that someone else said.

Have you read any Scientology books?

I asked Opencomments but did not get any exact answer other than an opinion on that I should not support or join.

Curios too see how many of us simply repeat without ourselves verifying what we say.

I ordered a book called Problems of Work.

Once I read it I will let you know.

  • Reading Scientology books has NOTHING to do with learning about its fraud and abuse. If I pick up a Scientology book, I would never have learned about Operation Freakout, Operation Snow White, their negligent homicide of Lisa McPherson, endless harassment of critics and ex-scientologists using campaigns of intimidation, blackmailing of members using their own Preclear folder confessionals, the confidential story of Xenu and body thetans, and OT VIII saying "YOU MOCK UP YOUR OWN REACTIVE MIND

  • You still deny the fact you have no understanding of the subject but knowledge on people who have their own opinions and conclusions.

There will always be both sides to the story .

My point is that your a person who can not see for yourself and make up your own mind .

You have not lived what you say happened or have learned anything about it for yourself.

  • And you still deny the fact that there are many abuses within the Scientology organization that, for whatever reason, you feel somebody should still pick up a book and read it. And what, so the abuses will magically disappear upon reading Dianetics, History of Man, Problems of Work, and so forth? The real world doesn't work like that. Problems with the Chinese government don't go away by reading a book, corruption of abusive organization don't go away by reading a book. Your logic fails.

  • I do not know anything about it BUT I can assure you it will not be based on "OTHERS" point of view.

I will read it and give you my opinion . Not so you can copy nor argue about it but to share my view which I have concluded about what I have read and seen and experience for myself.

Be yourself, make up your own decisions based on what you can see for yourself.

Stop being a COPY PASTE kind of person.

I do have to tell you one thing.

  • "I do not know anything about it BUT"

That's your problem right there - refusal to investigate. This would be a sad sad world if we protested only against things we were directly affected by. That is what you are saying right there - that people should make decisions based on ones' own experiences. That means people who have never been in psychiatry should not protest psychiatry, and people who have never been involved with the Nazi shouldn't protest Nazisism. It is faulty logic.

    xenu(.)net

  • The world you see as real is YOUR world .

    Not mine.

I will make my own decisions and act based on what I see is REAL to me and not what it is to you.

Sorry to disappoint you BUT we all have the right to make up our own minds .

And as I said before I will read and know for myself what its all about.

If I feel comfortable I will look for a Church of Scientology and also see it for myself.

Maybe your right ...I may never agree with them BUT it will be ME who decided.

    Not you nor anyone else.

  • I know what you're doing. You are using Scientology's concept of "What is true for you is true". here's the problem with that.

Scientology systematically robs a person of his ability to question things. In Scientology, they tell you, "If it's true for you, then it's true," resulting in objective reality becoming sort of fuzzy as it is based on whatever you believe. Over time, your beliefs are systematically supplanted with the beliefs that they instill in you through training drills.

  • Interesting .

I see that's what your trying to do.

Supplant your ideas and not letting others come out with what they can conclude for themselves.

Scientology or not I have learned that from my parents who did not impose their ideas on me.

It has been pretty successful for me and wish that freedom for everyone else.

We all have the right to decide what we wish to believe in and you nor anyone else can take that away.

Sorry you see a problem with people's right to choose.

  • Except I don't have a problem with people's right to choose. Anybody can believe what they want - I believe in freedom of religion. It is why I don't protest the Freezone.

But when it comes to Scientology's abuses by its management, I am capable of investigating a destructive and lying cult. I am capable of reading and communicating, and probably most important of all, able to learn from the mistakes of others.

It's not right for Scientology to break up families and harass critics.

  • John Duignan, a top scientologist who escaped Scientology has given the most explosive insight yet into the shady celebrity religion. For John, it cost him everything and everyone he held dear after he became a leading figure in the churchs British branch.

John says he was so brainwashed that he would have killed for Scientology. And he claims another member was driven to a suicide bid when she was rehabilitated after trying to leave. John tells of his nightmare in his book, "The Complex".

  • This is a great video.

    Thank you.

Love to see people helping people in moments of distress.

It makes a big difference when its mostly needed.

  • The Volunteer Minister program most heavily promoted by Scientology took place in the immediate aftermath of the 9/11 attacks.

Critics of Scientology accused the organization of attempting to take advantage of the disaster in order to promote Scientology to the grief-stricken populace in the area. An intercepted email from a Sea Org "Lieutenant" brags of a deliberate plan to prevent the grief-stricken from receiving counseling from psychiatrists.

Exploiting tragedies is what the VMs do.

  • "If attacked on some vulnerable point by anyone or anything or any organization, always find or manufacture enough threat against them to cause them to sue for peace. Peace is bought with an exchange of advantage, so make the advantage and then settle. Don't ever defend. Always attack. Don't ever do nothing. Unexpected attacks in the rear of the enemy's front ranks work best." - L. Ron Hubbard, Hubbard Communications Office Policy Letter, "Department of Governmental Affairs", 15 Aug 1960

  • .Cheap bastards. I hope they have benefits out of it, otherwise they are manipulated stupids...

  • A disgusting attempt to gain more followers. The initial help is great and they mean well, but when people are lured into Scientology, the real damage begins.

  • Its great an all they are helping but serriously its like a parasite on the world. Just keep baiting and switching then sucking the people dry.

  • Tell em bout R6. Tell em about hao LRH thought he was the reincarnation of the Buddha. Tell them what he thought of the Indian people.

  • There is a well established and EFFECTIVE charity for such disasters - it's called the red cross and it doesn't have the dubious intent of a dangerous cult behind it.

I'm sure VM's mean well, they have been conned as have many $cientologists- don't believe me? Look at all the data outside the "church".

  • Scientology and Buddhist belief are kinda similar except Scientology is more science fiction and scamming. Just stay away from the Chinese monk though. If they find out what Scientology is really about, there's no telling if Scientologist can get out of China alive.

  • tru dat man, either that or they would end up in a Chinese prison. They'd really regret Scientology then. The doctrines don't match, and as soon as the Buddhists catch on that Scis believe in "perfect beings" (homo novis), they won't have a sale then. Nirvana is quite different than anything a gyroscope can produce.

  • So let me get this this straight. $cientology has been all but ran out of America thanks to the internet and Google. Can someone get these people Google so they can read the Xenu story and have a good laugh, then they wont be soapt to be sucked into a horrible cult. How sad. Sad $cientology, sad.

  • Amen to that...

  • The organization offers medically dubious therapy (Hubbard's "assists" have gained negligible credibility among the medical or psychological professions) and of attempting to take advantage of disasters in order to promote Scientology to a grief-stricken populace.

For the Church of Scientology to take advantage of grieving individuals to promote Scientology is wrong.

  • Because their claims are consistent with all of the other claims made by other unrelated ex-scientologists around the world. Your data comes from Scientology and Scientologists alone. My data comes from independent research from many sources.

Also, I acknowledge the intention of the VMs to be honest (as I said in my initial response). It's the intentions of the corrupt organization that sent them that is NOT honest.

  • It's the motivation behind the people who sent the Volunteer Ministers there which is the problem. There's no doubt in my min VMs only want to help. However, management sent them there only for PR. Even Tory Christman explained how, after the VMs arrive at a site, the staff start to talk about how, "Did we get any news coverage?" showing that PR was the only purpose of the VMs.

Oh, and did I mention that they use the resources (food, supplies) of the other non-profit groups out there?

  • It was also recruitment... Imagine if the $cientologists could underpay people in the THIRD WORLD to build their emeters, instead of underpaying Westerners.... People in the third world are willing to be underpaid so much less...

  • The video makes perfect sense. They show pictures of catastrophes and $cientology is one of them.

  • $cientology is a vile cult, a fake religion that relentlessly persecutes its critics and ex-members. This is a "church" with its own Gestapo, the Office of Special Affairs, and its own prison gulag, the Rehabilitation Project Force.

It's far, far worse than you could ever imagine. Google it, and get informed.
