  • this is actually a good video. songs amazin aswell

  • Kweli's voice is irritating man.... where's that rawness from 2000 seasons. I Know times have changed, but I have been supporting his music from day one, got all the albums(originals), but I just wish he would make just one track, with that original rawness i heard in "for women" or "twice in a life time" .

  • @666oracle sadly, I have to agree that his voice is irritating

I've also been supportin him from day one

and I'm on you with the original rawness

    but at the same time

    I think

there's something wrong with this video

Without even comparing the two, I know that this video is slower than the original song on the album

  • I used to love gettin high in the night to this tune:D and Liftin off:D

  • I never liked cRap.... I am in love with Hip-Hop again...

  • sic beat, great hook.

  • Fuck SWAGGA

  • I think kweli has a lot of buddhist beliefs

  • Jay Z?

  • I CAN LIKE RAP AGAIN EPIC MAN

  • You can say banana again!

  • You can say that again! lol

  • So glad they got back together now whens the next album?

Oh and a Blackstar album would be sick to....that is all.

  • 433 people like rap again. 1 idiot still likes lil wayne and the mainstream

  • OOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMFFFFFFFFFFFFGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

Talib in the Booth Hi TEk on the Beat this video concepts to sick i love everything about it talib kweli i've already watched it like 12 times

  • Whats the name of the girl in this video? Is it Reesie or something like that? Saw Talib in concert last night in Boston, I think this girl was with him but I can't find her name... anyone?

  • @NarkOfTheBeast her name is Res (like reese)

  • YOU CAN LIKE RAP AGAIN!! YOU CAN SAY THAT AGAIN!!!!!!

  • Only 54k in views!? Just goes to show that true Hip-Hop still has ground to make up from that hip-pop shit. Been a T.K. a Hi-Tek fan for a min., but this track is the best of the new stuff that's every bit as good as the early black star, reflection eternal stuff. Not quite as deep, but still the dopest of the dope ass lyricists. Up there with PUTS and DOOM, I'm from Dayton, just a few north of the 'Nati and I'm proud to say that Kweli and Hi-Tek are the best!

  • how does this dope song only have 53,000 views? WOW!

  • Dis jawn is hot fa days..

  • No matter where you fall I will always be in your corner!

  • My favorite reflection eternal video, That young Asian guy in the End Produced the Video. Its recent also, never seen it on TV though. I'm gonna download the song and bump in myBlack 2010 CRV in CT...baby. All seriousness My man Talieb seriously stepped up on the vocals without Mos in this one. I luv luv luved the Brazillian guitar sample looped in the chourusProps to that girl 2, and his quick lyrics. Very refreshing.

  • I get better with time/

so right when you about to say something real slick/

    you like nevermind

  • I just spilled some fiery soul on a Reflection Eternal track and posted it up.

  • Classic album with a classic video! I love that comic book visual flow going on in this one. Song of the week. CHeck yall hearing with this

  • real rap won't get recognised by the degenerate moronic public spastics and you know what? IM FUCKING GLAD, they're missing out - enjoy you're B.O.B fags

  • @SwedishBlacks

lol agreed couldn't be more correct.

  • @SwedishBlacks hahaha.... but what about airplanes in the night sky? loll amen bro

  • @SwedishBlacks You clearly haven't listened to B.O.B's music other than mainstream.

  • @Inzults Bro that was 10 months ago, I'm gay now. Its cool I like bob!

  • less the 50,000 views. atleast i found it. underground all day.

  • talib kwelis style is so original

  • i think i just broke the replay button..... seriously

  • sick anigram

  • WOW

  • Artificial dye (die) like Yellow #5... *jaw drop*

  • figured I'd say it again.... I like rap again.

  • I like rap again.

  • veeeery sweet beat , and catchy lyrics too! luv her voice to how your vids put together too! NICE!

  • ..great vid

  • this joint is crazy

  • I pirate ALL of my music, but I might have to ante up some cash for this!

  • I think this has low views because embedding is off... a lot of views are generated from people showing this video to friends.. & on phones.

  • 1 person likes Swagger McSwaggersworth......

  • all i gotta say iz DAMNNNN..this ishhhhh.......iz tight

  • sista @ 1:12 is fly as fuck! !

  • Reflection Eternal forever!! I love Talib Kweli's flow and originality. After I bought Blackstar and Train of Thought, I was sold. Keep it up.

  • LOL same here.

  • @Elvception1979 Word!

  • move somethin'!

  • Yup i see that Maschine in the vid!

  • yea all the real ppl died in the tragic hiphop car accident

  • 2:44 talib spits hard, literally

  • Did you Hear? You can Like Rap again,Word!

  • @HOPHEAD0001 lol Yep about time real artist comin back

  • lol justin bieber got 100,000,00 views.. what has the world come too. this deserves at least 200,000,000

  • One of my fav songs on RPM...great video concept too

  • Definitely one of my favorite tracks on the album. You can always count on smart, unique videos from Talib too.

  • I dont need that this video has 300 millions of views, for know that is better than all others, that if have.

  • Love this womans voice, simply beautiful

  • wow!

  • it's amazing that crappy/garbage people like soulja boy has his videos up to 50 million views each.......

and one of the greatest REAL hip-hop groups only has 29,000 views......What a damn shame!

  • really dope song. really wack video. damn.

  • @illtarzan i personally like it. very simple. now if you wanna see hoes shakin their ass, u needa look somewhere else

  • @KiLaBehindU u reachin dukes. its not about hoes shakin they ass and Kweli doesnt need u to defend his art. it's about an artist of Kweli's caliber maintaining creative quality control to make sure his vision is presented at its most optimal.

it's called objective constructive criticism. pump ya breaks, hip-hop purist stan.

  • mos def was never apart of reflection eternal.....this track is fire!!!!!!!

  • yo i wish mos def was still wit em

  • @WHatHapPened94 Mos Def was never with them.. Him & Kweli together are known as "Blackstar"

  • Comment removed

  • @Zr0c00l Blackstar tracks were mostly produced by Hi-Tek though so I guess you could say he was part of it, so they essentially were a group. There should really be another Blackstar album but that will be difficult now that Mos has signed to G.O.O.D Music.

  • One of the best song from Reflection Eternal hast to be "2000 seasons"

Not many other songs come close to it!! Production and lyrical content are on point!

  • One of the best song from Reflection Eternal hast to be "2000 seasons"

Not many other songs come close to it!! Production and beat are point!

  • Somebody missed the like button! I see how that could be difficult.

  • DRAKE AINT GOT SHEET ON TALIB KWELI

  • Hmm how many rappers are just like Swagger McSwaggersworth???

  • belo clipe!! dinâmico e divertido! curti mto!

  • I hate the fact that real music like this gets drowned out by the nonsense garbage that is blasted on the radio today. Then again I really don't want real hip hop to be commericalize and manufactured just to make a quick dollar.

  • This shit blew my mind when I first heard it, Its amazing I love the 3rd verse, dang man, they should really promote his music more. The real artists always have lower views, no matter how lyrical, its like they want the same songs over and over, just the same song, remixed with different arragnements(Theives in the Night, reference), Talib is always real, true and amazing lyrically, Like he says he gets better with time(Reference to this song...lol)

  • @0194D I agree. but it could be his voice. its kinda annoying.

  • @Iratizzle

His voice is very normal to me

  • Talib and Hi-Tek is a MC/DJ duo that can only be topped by Eric B. & Rakim.

    That's not a diss, it's a compliment :)

  • wht does he say from 1:32-1:34..DAMnn Kweliiiiiiiiiiii

  • @YunGKronik i think its im connected to the struggle got a little light

and this little light of mine im bout to let it shine

  • Reseeee looks so bad ass here circa powerful black panther woman vibe n' you three sound beautiful. miss you Kweli n' Tek - peace n' luv Yaelli the drummer

  • someone help me out with what song res is singing...found out when this came out but forgot and its buggin!

  • this song is hot,but the album is even better.

  • Yall some damn squares if yall dont have this album... and The Train of Thought as well.

  • If Pac was here, I could already hear him saying," yes, yes, YES, where my real thugs, where they at , where they at, wheres my real thugs, where they at?"

  • I SAW THEM PERFOM THIS SONG AT THE SONAR BALTIMORE, MD. AND SHIT WAS DEF LIVE!!! MY FAV REALEST GROUP!! TRUTH SHALL SET YOU FREE!!!

  • I cant believe hi tek even showed his face in this video. If your not rappin in it fuck that shit then. This is basically just Kweli. I dont even know why they call themselves reflection eternal when its just Talib Kweli rappin over Hi Tek beats which he does anyways. The whole album is like this. Good raps but kinda gay Hi Tek doesnt rap on it.

  • @ShutTheFuckUp0809 if it was just kweli and no hi-tek, then it would just be acapella. hi-tek is just as part of the music as kweli and has just as much responsibility to represent. each piece they put out is the result of an artistic partnership utilizing the elements of hip-hop and the name of that partnership is reflection eternal. it's like fresh prince and DJ jazzy jeff.

  • @ShutTheFuckUp0809. What a ignorant comment. If you know there flow, Reflection eternal is two elements. So don't write something that doesn't make any sense

  • @ShutTheFuckUp0809 I'm not sure how old you are...or how big of a fan of hip hop u are...but if you ever listened to GangStarr (Guru & DJ Premier) Guru rapped over Premier's beats and that was that. It's nothing new...Kool G rap & DJ Polo, (hate to admit it, but Fresh Prince & DJ Jazzy Jeff) now new school rappers doing it ...Ruste Juxxe & Marco Polo...it's actually coming back around again Skyzoo & Illminds etc...Talib and Tek...but Hi Tek does rap though.

  • @ShutTheFuckUp0809 you obviously no nothing about music if you think that the beat doesnt matter and all thats needed is the rapper

  • @ShutTheFuckUp0809

    ???

Because he's the producer. He produced the music...

  • * uninspirational..barack is bad news for the world..fight asnd oppose the nwo..be the resitance

  • @MrKnowItAll1987 btw i meant you're right hahaha, just backing you up because there's too many fools out here who don't get what it's all about. can't hate on these two, it's just ridiculous to try.

  • im sick of hearing folks claim to be fans then claim either they feel he sold outo n a few joints and dont sound the same, or that thwey fell off and dont sound better on this album...the album has 17 tracks, 14 are filled with positivity love and hope and real talk of the avergae joes struggles in todays society..and the mainstream joints he made 4 themasses was SMART,real in the listneers, buy the album and he then can TEACH the masses whats going on..SMART way to SPREAD THE POSITIVE SUBSTANCE!

  • @MrKnowItAll1987 @MrKnowItAll1987

    1) I don't think he sold out (I'll let it go that he was on MTV MADE). 2) I just want raw beats and passionate rapping such as "ghetto afterlife" and "eternalists"

  • @MrKnowItAll1987 this should be in consideration for album of the year, it brings everything, and if you don't have a few bangers in your album it's incomplete so they had to. they brought straight fire on every track with intelligence and truth like no one else in the game, except maybe lupe but that's another argument. obviously these two geniuses are gonna' get overlooked because their name doesn't have a young money label by it, but damn this is what real hip hop is, disagree & youre a fool

  • people seem to be complaining bout this album only because of the way kweli tries 2appeal to the masses with joints like the estelle, midnight hour for example...why shouldnt he? think of it from a smart business point...if kweli gives theindustry a couple club joints and the mainstream masses something commercial enough they can get wit it, if they go out buy.download the album, chances are they will give it a THOROUGH LISTEN..and kwelis positive message and substamce on the album will b heard

  • @MrKnowItAll1987 or lyrics like "too late" 'Me an Tek stay way blunted, wave running on beaches with whtie sand, with a slight tan, smack the mic stand with my right when I'm excited, leave you so far in the dust that you're forced to bite it.'

    Say I love, I love...that raw ish

  • @MrKnowItAll1987 youtube kweli - raw shit

  • I dont understand why some folks are claiming to be so called "reflection eternal" fans but then hypocritically claim the album doesnt compare to their others and isnt even as good as the first album....I just dont get it...kweli brings the substance, talks about real shit, thepolitics from here in america to overseas, the realities of life, things that matter, not only that but kweli finally found his niche and sound and FINALLY has a commanding mic precense and comfortability on how to flow

  • greatness classic real hip-hop forever

  • Talib Kweli is the sickest hip-hop artist EVER! No one can top him!!!!! Dj Hi-Tek makes some pretty dope beats as well!

  • DAMN i didnt even kno the album droped i thought they'd b more promotion n radio airplay

  • Who's singing the chorus

  • @jacksonrrr Her name is RES

  • Seen kweli 3 times, love reflection eternal.....but this album lacks substance. Like they just made it without a purpose. As big a fan as I am, I only give props when due. 2/5 stars.

  • @3ternalist ARE YOU NUTS??? LACKS SUBSTANCE??? let me ask again are you NUTS?? lacks substance?? have you listened? the entire album is mainly substance....Kweli did maybe a total of3tracks that had commercial appeal...the joint with estelle, etc every other song is positive and uplifting..even the estelle joint is classya nd respectful and he kills that style of beat...the album promotes positivity, he talks abount the world we live in today, especially with the politics, talks about everything!

  • @3ternalist btw made itwithout a purpose? i think hes stance on whats gfoin on with the government andhow half the album alone talks about the struggles economically on the common person and during thesetryinig times of inspirational presidenting on baracks behalf, he felt it neccessary to drop the album with the theme being positive concepts with deep lyricality like no other album of his, with a message of hope &hoping to crack into the mainstream ears with it is a "pretty good"purpose to me!

  • Man Kweli n Hi-Tek so underrated fa real. Makes no sense.

  • Classic tune!!! Masterpiece album. I always liked their union.

  • Drake will never be this Good!

    if you agree thumbs up!

  • WTF??? Only 16k views, yet Party in the USA got 135 million views.

WTF is wrong with the world???

  • this is sad Talib not getting enough attention come on

  • dah, they clowned on that yayo dance. subliminal jabs, gotta love it.

  • wack azz Drake can't make music like this

  • @Jahbril30 Yeah ur right this is true music right here! wait till drakes 2nd album he'll fall off

  • @purepowa thanks purepowa I agree he has no SOUL in his music at all talking about Drake

  • @Jahbril30 Yeah he doesn't.. I heard black star making another album mos def and talib

  • @purepowa That would be dope.

  • Blacksmith is the movement!

  • I don't listen to the radio, but if this aint playin in the rotation, it should be. This is what a radio hit should sound like, easy listening but still lyrical with substance.

"YEAH WE BACK AGAIN, YOU COULD LIKE RAP AGAIN"

  • love this album

  • OOOOh yeah...THIS is what hip hop is supposed to sound like. I forgot for a minute with all of this fake shit on the radio that's masqurading as hip hop.

  • maybe every one else bought the album and is listening to that instead of listening to it on youtube..???

  • @twinz2008 27k and counting...

too many dupe's to follow the numbers of artists who will always be 'underground'

  • @twinz2008 I guess they interbred and repopulated to 30,085. Lets get it to 7 billion.
