I thought they were a great group. Some great musicians in the mix. Stevies old bandmates. I saw them every chance I got. Mostly at Antones and Threadgills..

The interesting thing I remember about being at this performance was the lackluster sound in the studio while they were playing. When I got back to the hotel afterward and watched it on TV, it was obvious the mix was done for broadcast and not the studio audience. Much better on the box than live.

Doyle, Sexton, Shannon & Layton were the perfect band in the 90's... It's a pity they aren't together anymore... But that fantastic band still have done some amazing shows minus Shannon: they're still great playing those songs of their 1st album or covers as well!!!

Fantastic Band with a kick ass album. They deserve a monumental comeback. Please come back and save us all from the crap nowadays on the radio... I can't take it anymore!!!
