ok ill ask you this. Where is the technical driving talent in NASCAR?

Heavy braking points? No.

Multi Apex corners? No.

Blind corners? No.

Standing starts? No.

Off camber corners? No.

WET WEATHER RACING? No.

Getting the power down coming out of slow corners? No.

All those things are what makes driving racecars difficult. How the hell can nascar be hard when it doesnt have any of those? So where is the actual driving skill? Side by side action does not equate to driving skill.

When asked of open-wheel drivers which is harder to drive. They say hands down stock cars. Not mention it was even said that the stock car guy would dismantle most if not all open wheel drivers if they choose to drive an open wheel car.

@samsemtex stock cars are a lot harder to control that an open wheel car, open wheel cars have a lot more grip that stock cars, stock cars dont have gay push to pass buttons, and in a stock car if your car isnt handling well you have to deal with that for 30 to 50 laps depending on what track their running where in an open wheel car you can adjust from the steering wheel, open wheel drivers are just a bunch of computer techs

Open wheel racing takes actual driving skills. Stock care racing, while entertaining for the demo derby aspect of it, is more like watching vans race. Wanna watch a modest speed bumper car race - Nascar is the ticket. Wanna watch true racers with skill at high speeds - open wheel is the ticket.
