not bad for zero budget and your friends for actors. You will get many laughs from this some day, especially if you go on to making good professional stuff. sadly some of the kids in the film were the same age as many of the men/boys who were there. I hope someday you will make a great film about these stories. Thumbs up
Did you get that idea from Medal of honor spearhead because i have that game and this is exactly like it and the sounds are from it too like "Get in your Fox holes!!!"
nice in a few years you actually fit because lots of men in WWII were young men from ages 17 - 26 ( thats my version of young ages not all ages in wwii duh) a bunch of tired scared kids nice job :DD
Haha thanks. Yeah, we're starting to fit the age now. This was made a while back. Take a look at the Screaming Eagles video we made, it's on my profile. That's where we look the age.
03:08...Tom when u acted as the uteroffizier could u make the commands more tense? Cos I wont imagine a high ranking german officer would give intense commands.
Thanks. I used two Sony Handycams for this movie. Yes, Ulead has 2 audio tracks and 2 video/audio tracks. You can add unlimited sound effects by adding a bunch, saving it as a video, and then adding more to the finished video by starting a new project file.
Yeah. I use Windows Moviemaker and I do that method. But since there is only one audio track, I have to save it a ton of times and the quality becomes worse. Thanks.
Sweet! I also did a intro im my ww2 movie. This one is so much better than the other one. The effects are great like the explosions and I love the way you did the color of the film. I might do a fan trailer for this snice its so good!
Your YouTube productions are very successful, and your dedication to your dream and craft is the reason. Your productions should be an inspiration to any new member of YT that hard work and dedication pays dividends in the form of views, and subscribers. If I can be remotely as successful as you, Tom I will be satisfied. I salute you Sir.
this was realy good loved 8:15 all that tension and hallo of course we can expect that from Tommy Lynskey the only thing was the geneva convention part i think it wasnt until 1949,1950 that it was formed would be great for a korean war movie still great
Thanks, but actually the geneva conventions were 4 conventions, the earliest dates back to the 1800's. The last of the 4 was in 1949 though, and many were revised then. The one regulating weapons for medics was made before the battle though.
outstanding video i know you and your cast put a lot of work into this and it shows.you should be very proud of this video.i think it is one of your best.the snow makes it looks more real. again great job.tell your cast they did a great job also
The guy reading the poem? He's Gary Oldman, he played the main guy in Medal of Honor Spearhead, but he's more famous for playing Serious Black in Harry Potter.
As for tips, I can't think of anything, but just think of a story line you want to tell, and be sure to capture everything clearly. It can be hard in a fast paced movie.
CUT YOUR HAIR OFF!
