@ikitdotcom there is no improved button cut outs & no flash ring. My friend bought the case & as of feb 2011 it ruins the flash & u can't hit the buttons. Worst case I've ever seen

I've had my iPhone3gs for 7 months (yea I'm a loser I know) and I've never had a screen protector for it, and I have never dropped it, which is amazing. So I can understand how not having the ability to use a screen shield with a case can be scary, but personally it won't bother me.

As far as this case goes, it seems the only positive point about it is the kickstand.
