I do basically the same thing on our farm and it works great. Do you put nutrients down as you make your rows or broadcast nutrienst over the entire field than cut in the rows? I find our crops are cleaner and a hellof a lot less work. We grow tomatoes, garlic, basil and cut flowers this way.
